Reduced again. £16,995!!! That's gotta be cheap hasn't it???
It is with HUGE regret that I have to sell the best car I've ever owned.
05 Plate WRC Blue STI Type UK with Prodrive Performance Pack
Forge Dump Valve
Remap to 329.8BHP by Martin @ Alan Jeffery (Thanks Martin)
Just covered 10,200 Miles
Recent 10,000 mile service at main dealer
Fully dymatted all doors so no rattles & even the rubbish factory stereo & speakers sound half decent.
Proper STI Mats
New (on Monday) 12 month Tracker subscription
Nearly 2 years of Subaru Warranty left.
and everything else that these fantastic cars left the factory with.
Unfortunately I bought it as a second car when I had a company car but now that's gone & I just can't justify running this as a daily driver so need something a bit more sensible that I can leave in hotel car parks over night & not panic about.
Always garaged always warmed up & cooled down and loved like a baby.
I'm looking for "sensible" offers around £16995
It deserves a good home......
Rich!

I get...
"you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."
So, looks likes there's a problem

The remap has cost you your warranty, but I think I am right in saying that it will only affect the engine aspects.
If something else goes pop like air con, electric windows, suspension etc you would still be covered.
If the turbo went pop of course you wouldn't be covered.
Nevertheless I still think its a steel at 17.5k, but it really is a very difficult market at the moment.
In my case, with all the prodrive after market mods including 18" PWRC alloys etc I spent around 28.5k on MY04 STI type UK and I sold it for 16.5k back in March this year. It was just under 2 years old with only 12k on the clock, a loss of 12k in just under 2 years and it took about 4 months to sell.
While being gutted at loosing 12k, in hindsight I think I got off very very lightly.
While selling mine, I approached my dealer who offered me 14k, he had an almost identical car to mine on his forecourt for 21k. He told me that a few weeks earlier he had bought a WR1 back off a customer for 15.5k, which was on his forecourt for 23k.
I have to say though everytime I see and here a late reg scoob my heart still bleeds a bit - and I really want another one, but the time is not right at the mo
Good luck

Depends what it went in for.
But it also doesn't mean that if the person who buys it has an engine problem and takes it to a different dealer and they check the mapping as part of the diagnostics, they won't spot it.
