STi4 / 2.5 / AP's / DCCD / Link ECU etc..
NOW SOLD!!
Guys, I never use it so its time to sell. She's in pretty good condition, but she has been used for her intended purpose so has the odd imperfection here and there.
She's a very quick and well sorted weapon, I'm guessing circa 340 at the moment but she's being held back by the 440's, so quite a lot more power is available for relatively little outlay.
I've spent a fortune on it, but have an opportunity too good to miss, so she's got to go.
Here's a few photos- I have some more at home that I'll put on tonight.

- STi4- 1997 (may even be 1998, don't have the papers here). Silver.
- Will have 12 months MOT when sold, and tax 'til end of May (I think!)
- Always run on quality fluids, currently Silkolene proS from Oilman, accompanied by Silkolene transmission fluid, and the proper Silkolene LSD fluid in the diff.
- 2.5 Conversion about 30k ago.
- Ap 330's, new rotors and pads about 400 miles ago.
- Standard rear cali's, new disks and pads as above.
- Braided hoses etc etc.
- Front Mount intercooler
- MD304 Hybrid Turbo
- Link ECU, mapped by Simon JGM
- Rear facing bonnet extractor in place of scoop.
- Driver Controlled centre diff (DCCD, manual, not auto)
- Proper tubular headers from Zen, the expensive ones (ie not splitty ebay crap)
- Whiteline drop links and rear adjustable ARB.
- Coilovers from Apex Performance- adjustable rebound and ride height, fronts have pillowball topmounts.
- Geometry currently aligned to Whiteline race spec
- Rear seats removed (although can be refitted)
- Plumbed in fire extinguishing system (driver and engine bay, with external pulls)
- Six point cage- can be removed pretty easily.
Here's a few photos- I have some more at home that I'll put on tonight.

Sorry, not going to split it.
No idea of spec of engine, as far as I'm aware it was a short 2.5 that was used with the STi heads originally on it. Although it could have STi internals, I would take it that it has standard internals- I have no information to the contrary and have no way of finding out.
Its still on 440's which both mappers have said is all that is holding it back. The combination of the 2.5 and MD304 makes for exceptionally snappy performance with very little perceivable lag; even on a damp track the arrival of boost doesn't cause to much of a scare.
She'll be pretty close to 400 square with injectors an a map adjustment.
The mileage is showing just over 100k, with about 30k on the new engine. I wouldn't let that trouble you too much as brakes / suspension / bushes / clutch etc etc have all been replaced, and she has a clean set of quality Silkolene every time she goes on track- which equates to an oil change about every 300 miles (if that). I also had the original STi gearbox re-furb'd before we put it back in (after I lunched the RA box...) and she's recently had a recon rear diff as well.
I wouldn't try to kid anyone that she hasn't been driven very hard- thats why I'm so **** about maintenance- and I've been far more interested in the way she performs and handles than the way it looks- although its by no means tatty it ain't concourse either.
In theory, everything that was going to break has already broken and been replaced.

There you go, easy to find out if you're prepared to ask around

Southport, about 25 miles north of Liverpool.
No faults that I'm aware of- she did have leaky rocker covers but I had the gaskets done last week along with a new MOT.

if she's still around in about a month then ill be interested. Just in the process of sorting out the sale of the gt4 and then will be in the serious hunt for a decent track capable scoob for around 6-6.5k. Any probs with noise in terms of db limits?

She usually does about 94db static so no probs with noise.
I'm using her daily at the moment as I broke the Evo, but she's ready for a new home as soon as the V5 comes back from DVLA and I have my plate safely on retention.

Private plate now on retention so she's ready to go to a new home. Will take the interior photos when I get home this evening.
