Default MY05 Spec C WR limited **NOW SOLD **

**** NOW SOLD *****

Unfortunately its time to go to another home for my Impreza Spec C WR Limited. Money issues force sale of one of the fastest Imprezas out there. It was imported by Iain Litchfield in April 2005. The car has now done 22000 miles, and is on an 04 plate (although as per the title its an MY05 with the larger PCD wheels etc)

The WR Limited has the usual Spec C features of lightened glass/bonnet/bootlid, oil cooler, front and rear strut braces, 12L intercooler tank in boot, DCCD, reduced sound deadening, 235 rubber, uprated fuel system, uprated water pump and roller bearing twin scroll turbo. This model also has SWRT badges, SWRT seats, WRX rear spoiler (a bit more sleeper!) electric windows, aircon, electric folding mirrors and remote central locking. Litchfields have also fitted a RAC trackstar tracker and Toad CAT 1 alarm. In addition it also has PIAA spots. Its been on a weighbridge at 1385kg (with half a tank of fuel).

In addition to all that I have:-

- Bob Rawle remapped to 360lb/ft torque, 340bhp
- Kicker 6.2 speakers and JVC MX3000R MD/CD player
- serviced at Powerstation 1000 miles ago
- 10 months tax remaining
- Powerstation 4 wheel alignment
- 3 port boost controller thingy (can't remember the proper name! )
- uprated whiteline rear anti roll bar, set just right!
- H&S (lagged) downpipe with special Janspeed backbox to reduce noise (original system also included in sale)

Its been regularly serviced at Powerstation, and drives like a dream. Bob Rawle commented on just how good the engine was on this car, and other Scooby drivers have commented on just how quickly it goes! It is been especially mapped to get on boost quickly making it an effortless drive. The torque combined with the light weight along with the complimentary changes make it a brutally fast car.

Some pics.....
(click on them to see full sized)

If you've got this far you might want to know how much it will be for this amazing and rare car. (I think Iain said there are only 1000 of these made.)

I will accept good offers around £15250. What a bargain I hear you say! (You'd better! )

If you need any questions answered I can be contacted on markw3@googlemail.com or PM me.

Thanks

***** PRICE NOW AT ROCK BOTTOM ******

I'd be very interested, as I've just sold my S2000 specifically to buy an Spec C, but I'm affraid this is too pricey for me, for a car of this year.

Cheers,
Paul

Emailed you anyway with an offer, no offence taken if you tell me to jack it!

Dunno, I've made what I feel is a good, genuine offer, for Mark's car. Iain, quoted me £17-18K to import a 04-05 Spec C, with all his add-ons and a years warranty.

Cheers,
Paul

RA is less specced id rather have a wr ltd and if you think you can get one for under 17k then id have it in a flash

Only a couple of months ago litchfields were selling an 03 for 17k

what sort of mileage was this WR Ltd? might be a reason for the cheap price

PCM recently sold a White MY05 for,I think, £17,500, and currently have a blue one in stock for £17,495, both WR Ltd. You've got to remember these car interest a super low amount of people so shifting them can be hard. I could go on. CarPlanet recently sold a MY06Hawkeye for £19,995, again probably went cheaper and have another MY06 coming over, it's listed on their website for £19,795. Also there's a Hawkeye Spec C on PistonHeads for £18,500.

Edited to say, PCM cars were both under 13,000 miles.

Understood from Iain the whole point of the WR Limited was it was blue to fit in with the SWRT theme! Anyway no biggie, thanks also for the support!

All this without people actually driving it, that's what will sell it, it drives really well

Who told you that? The RA is better specc'd than the WR Ltd, has all the electrics and all the uprated suspention parts, the WR ltd runs the standard suspension
Nice to see you got your car in the end though

The WR Ltd ive just bought has all the electrics, dont know about uprated suspension parts tho.I was led to believe the RA had no electrics and was basically a stripped out road/track car

Ive been looking into importing another Spec C from Japan, im lonely without my old MY03 but ive found out that you cant actually import an 06 JDM car as there are no model reports available to the public (there is one and only one out there but its not let out to other companies), even asked VOSA and they confirmed that there were no model reports for 06/07 JDM cars available to the public so be wary of what you end up buying! and ask to see the model report if your worried, worse case scenario according to VOSA is that your car ends up being crushed and it wont be covered by your insurance as its not road legal, so it looks like ill have to look at getting one of the 05 hawkeye cars (to which there are model reports available to the public )

Know what you mean Tony. I've ran a vehicle check on a few of them now, one didn't show up, one JDM Impreza was registered as a Forrester and the other a WRX225, dodgy dodgy!

Not this car totaly honest and a bit of a beast - Free BTT
