SOLD ...... My lovely unmolested car is looking for a new home, as follows:
2004 SUBARU IMPREZA 2.0 WRX AWD Turbo SL
Only 26,000 miles
Full Subaru Service History (FSSH, FSH) with ALL receipts/invoices
services -
Dec 2004 @ 10k,
Oct 2005 PPP added,
Mar 2006 @ 16k,
Feb 2007 @ 22k
Official Subaru Prodrive Performance Pack (PPP) produces 260bhp
Full Black Leather interior (Heated Seats)
STI Alloy wheels (will fit the Brembo STI brakes) with new Potenza RE070s
ABS, Air conditioning, Cat 1 Alarm/Immobiliser, Heated Wing Mirrors, Sunroof, MOT & Tax April 08, 3x3 point rear seat belts (ISOFIX), all relevant paperwork, a pristine example of this high spec model.
I was considering upgrading various bits n pieces until someone on the forum suggested I had the wrong car and I had to agree. Selling after just 6 months - I've bought myself an 03 JDM STI........
Could be persuaded to part with brand new set of Brembo STI calipers and a used STI intercooler that I never got around to having fitted, but that would affect the price. My new car has AP racing 6 pots
Check out the photos below - she really is in pristine condition inside and out. PM me if you have any questions or just reply to the ad!

NO OFFERS....... !!!!!!
It's a very good price for the car already. If you don't have, or dont want to spend, £11k then look elsewhere but you will not find a better standard PPP SL car for the money.

No comparison -
Standard Alloys (probably with cheap tyres as opposed to my new STI/RE070s)
Standard Polyester interior (as opposed to my Full leather interior, heated seats, sunroof etc for SL version)
Updated interior - read different a/c controls and steering wheel.
Not to mention the omitted mileage - usually means very high!
Oh yes, I'm worried - NOT!

Alloys: - Standard alloys as subaru provided (not modified)
Tyres: - Standard tyres (brand new Potenzas) as Subaru recommend
Interior: - 05 Model spec - much much nicer inside - revised dials, centre console, switches etc (ask anyone) - I am not claiming it has leather interior. 05 model also has red calipers/revised suspension from the STI as standard.
Mileage: - (AS STATED ON THE TOP OF THE PISTON HEADS AD IF YOU CAN READ) is 20,500miles i.e. very low mileage
This car is a 1 owner example and is absolutely immaculate inside and out - UK car in total STANDARD trim. Always run on optimax - always warmed up and idled etc - never ever thrashed.
I would agree there is no comparison at all. An 05 reg minter with 20k on the clock, new alloys, new tyres, just serviced, sat nav and still under warranty until 04/08 for £10,750 OR a car a year older with higher mileage, crap dash and a salesman who has a speed addiction. No brainer at all really.
You are way out on your price. It's worth circa 9.75k.
Take it easy mate and good luck with the sale.

SUBARU REVEAL IMPREZA MY2005 UPDATES
The 2005 model at first glance has very few visible revisions to distiguish the car over the 2003/4 face lift models. There are though quite a few improvements in the complete range.
Impreza WRX Gains:
"mmmmm I wonder which car I would rather buy?????? No comparison really LOL"
There is no way anyone would buy an 04 model UNLESS it was at least 1k-1.5k cheaper.

- Aluminium front suspension lateral links
- Smaller diameter 3-spoke steering wheels
- Plusher – and extended – cloth door trim
- Plusher roof lining
- New, flush-fit centre console
- New air-conditioning controls
- New, quality-feeling switchgear

Apologies for the tone of my original reply, but you did appear to be trying to steal my thread/buyer and I was having a BAD day. As I should have said, you have better dials and the STI suspension (I didn't know about the suspension) - the plusher interior doesnt matter as you are selling a standard WRX and I'm selling the SL version (sunroof, full leather interior, heated seats) - the interior is already plusher and likely to appeal to a different buyer. Anyway, best of luck with your sale (she looks like a nice car).
Good Luck.

Sorry to **** on your chips RJL, but as a potential buyer I would only buy up to a 2004 model, and stealths car would be the one for me if I was buying. The 05 interior may have been "updated", but its awful - big bland expanse of plastic with 3 round ***** in the middle.
I much prefer the previous interior, and would only ever buy one with that option - you spend all your time on the inside so it has to look right. The SL seats/options would also win it with me.
Good luck stealth, I rate this car but I'm not ready to buy anything yet.
