Exclamation *555UBY MY00 Impreza turbo. VGC and very reliable.

New edit: 19-Apr-08: price drop from £5995 to £5245

Beautiful car, very reliable, amazing to drive, handles well, very good condition inside and out. Sadly, new job forces sale.

- Full service history (serviced every 6 months) and all receipts giving full history of the car since purchase in 2001.
- Approx 85k miles
- MOT March 2009 (Road tax available til 08/08)

W reg (2000) Classic Dark Mica Blue, UK Subaru Impreza 2litre turbo including all the usuals PLUS:-

- Private rally-team style number plate, ending *555UBY
- Upgraded Subaru-fitted exhaust (power increase approx 7%!)
- A SPARE brand new standard exhaust
- Upgraded 17" gold alloys - dealer-fitted, from the original UK300s. 10 spoke (5 double spokes)
- Air con (dealer-fitted)
- 3 dash-mounted defi guages - oil pressure, oil temp, turbo
- Tracker (not currently activated)
- "IMPREZA TURBO 2000" mats and "Prodrive" bootliner
- Headlight and fog light protectors
- Subaru stereo
- Dealer-fitted Thatcham security cat 1 system (new Summer 2007 - still under warranty)
- Recent cambelt and kit change (Oct 2007)
- New brake pads all round last summer

Very good condition and lovingly looked after.

One of the newest classic Imprezas around. Much cheaper to tax than the new age cars. Cheaper to insure than an STi (cost me £400 last year). Gets good MPG for this type of car. If you want a flash car that does what it's told, is reliable and superb fun to drive, then this is it!

Please call 07773 246837 or email scoobynet@artdirections.co.uk (Thatcham, Berks)

I cannot stress enough what a lovely car this is, handles beautifully, well looked after, loads of extras. Will be genuinely gutted to sell it.

Had some interest but unfortunately the main prospective buyer couldn't get insurance. Others didn't even view the car in the end. Can I tempt anyone?

Hi There.

It look great. condition look great Good colour, aircon, miles not too high and a full SH sensible mods, nothing to put off a newbie or scars the insurance co's

Price seems OK.

Only thing and this is person is the additional 3 gauges, whilst they are quality and useful the mountings look nasty - IMHO and please do not take offence. There is a retro fit pod mount that goes where the storage lid fits that looks just fine and part of the car install. Alternativly or in a pillar mount.

Would this put me off, probably not.

If i was buying right now i would be interested in this car.

Thanks for your comments.

I agree about the defi gauge mount, but that's how it was when I got the car, and it certainly didn't put me off buying it, and hasn't bothered me since.

Very nice car, though I agree with Paul H re the Gauge mounts. If it were me selling it I would be loathe to accept much less than you are advertising for. As NS04 said its not easy to sell at decent prices at the mo, but good luck anyway for a nice looking motor

The price is right, there are some absolute dogs out there and if someone wants a cheap one let them buy those. They'll be back in 6 months and want a reliable one

When someone actually makes the effort to come and see it the car will sell itself. Nice clean tidy example, fully serviced and cheap insurance and tax compared to the newages, why would anyone want anything else
