Superb MY99 Impreza Turbo, £2495
SOLD SOLD SOLD
REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE... Reluctant sale of a very nice, well cared for car. Check 'View My Scooby' for pics.
1999 (V) UK Subaru Impreza Turbo. MOT Feb 2009, Tax until end April 2009... 114,000 MOTORWAY miles, but don't let that put you off. I've spared no expense in the upkeep of my Impreza. No piston slap - runs superbly and is mechanically sound in all respects.
I use Len at Subaru4You in Newbury, a respected specialist, for all its major services. I change the oil using fully synthetic Motul every 4000 miles and only use Subaru approved filters. Never been on a track.
Full cambelt service done by Subaru4You at 91k, so it doesn't need dong for a while.
New radiator last winter. Last major service was at 107k - I had a new MAF sensor fitted at the same time (a notorious failure on this model year). MOT was done then too - it passed without a single fault. Last interim oil change was in May at 111,700 miles. Oil change intervals are 7.5k on these cars, but I do them more frequently as I believe you can't change the oil too often. 15k service before that carried out at Subaru4You last September. Recent new windscreen. MOT until Feb 9th 2009. Taxed until end of April 2009 - tax comes with the car. Four good Toyo Proxes tyres. Four wheel laser alignment done at the same time as the tyres.
The only modifications are a stainless steel Scoobysport centre section and backbox, fitted by a garage, and a K&N replacement panel filter, both of which I've added during my ownership. I have a huge fat folder of receipts to prove its meticulous upkeep, plus many from its previous owner.
As an added bonus I also received a copy of Classic Cars magazine dated October 2005 in which my car is featured with its previous owner - it comes with the car. The car is in really very tidy condition indeed for its mileage - a few very minor parking dings you only really notice when looking hard down its side, and some wear on the driver seat squab.
This car has been 100% reliable during my ownership. It's a daily commuter for me - I clock up around 250 motorway miles a week in it.
Included in this sale is a set of four new NGK spark plugs costing around £50.
Reason for its VERY reluctant sale is I've just bought a new house, so am having to think of my finances.
£2495 ono.

JUST SOLD IT...
Breaks my heart to have practically given it away, but the market dictates these things, and the market is dead. Sorry to be leaving the club. Hopefully not for ever, though.
