Default 1997 V3 Type R

See other Add for type R

ok heres the deal right now my cars worthless cause the econamys buggerd,
The V3 type R ( Which is the earliest Type R made) is recognised by experts as the most raw subaru made it has the best chassis and is the most closley related road car to the factory race cars, Everything about the V3 is totaly hardcore,
Try to buy a 2 door mk2 or mk1 escort today you will pay £10,000 for a car cause people serious about racing do not want to race 4 door cars, supply and demand there are so few left the price reflects this,
I know people in the game buying up v3's for 3to 5 k depending on condition and buying lots of them...why??? because they know when the market recovers they will be priceless.....there are people here who say "look at the overpriced classics" "their in cuckoo land" " I can get a decent Blob for that money..."
yes you can but in 5 years your blob will be worthless and my type R will be as rare as rocking horse poo and worth a mint like the early escorts are now
All this taken into concideration im now not selling the car unless i get the price asked no deals no swaps as im getting it ready to mothball,

a lot of guys out there are breaking these cause they cant sell them...so even less will survive......work it out

thanks

i want 6K for the car,
However I have some decent performance parts for sale aslo these include
475 hp garret hybrid turbo,
Excedy ceramic paddle clutch, with lightend flywheel
800cc injectors,
Simtec ECU with antilag and launch controll (3plug)
STI V3 heads that been ported, have big cams new valves/springs ect ect and i have been advised by paul at Zen these are worth about £1500

2.0 Standard STI Forged pistons with rods
used but good centre thrust crank
v2 Maf
phase 1 intake manifold which includes throttle body and idle controll valve
take it all for £7500 but i wont sell the parts for £1500 seperatly thats a deal for whoever buys the car

Keep the car man! the classics are the best exspecialy the type r v3 the best scooby made. i currantly own a yellow type r v3 555 and i value it at £6,500 and hopefully it will stay at that price or will go up! if i couldnt have a classic i would move on to an evo or skyline as i think the blob eyes and that are a waste of money!

If you so sure on it being a future classic, keep it!

No need to try and justify yourself, just state the spec and price you want. The buyer will find you.

V3's are not the best impreza, by a long way! they do have the most aggressive engine of all the classics and the engineers do have a tendancy to keep pointing this out so you could say that but i could list lots of scoobs that are far better in both performance, handling and reliabilty
