SUBARU IMPREZA CLASSIC RB5 PPP ECU
This is my much loved RB5 number 083 of 444 made which was made to celebrate the return of the English driver, Richard Burns, to the Subaru Rally Team Subaru wanted to make a special edition.
Aptly named after Richard's initials and the car number '5' he was driving under in the WRC.
There are only around 300 of these left so this is a rare chance to buy and own a classic, you will not find one in this great condition for a better price!
I really do not want to sell this but a recent house move with total refurbishment is forcing the sale.
This has a good history with the co founder of the RB5 owners club being a previous owner.
Along with the standard specifications I have done the following:
2003 WRX gearbox which is stronger and can handle well over 400 bhp
Organic Exedy clutch
New Radiator
Prodrive back box but also has a turbo back de-cat which include a scoobysport downpipe
Black Boss Red Line Alloys
4 x New Tyres
New Godspeed front bigger 335mm discs with new pads (August 09)
New rear discs and pads (July 09)
P1 Front Splitter
Low level rear spoiler (the only RB5 to have this) I do have a standard mid level spoiler which will be included, needs a re-spray
P1 fog covers (no fogs/driving lights, these were not used and so I took them out, saving weight)
Performance Simota panel filter with a direct cold air intake
P1 Suspension
STI bigger Top Mount Intercooler with Intercooler Splitter and Tilt Kit
Various Samco pipes etc.
Knocklink sensor, Defi style Boost & Vault gauges and a Dawes manual boost controller fitted which is currently set at running a safe 1.3bar.
Earth Mod Kit
Carbon fiber STI Front Strut Brace
MOMO gearknob
Aero Splash Gaurds
It is running around 270bhp with the current mods which is a good level but this can easily go to the mid 300bhp with a few more mods and tunning.
This had an engine rebuild at 60k under warrenty and I have an A4 folder full of service history, receipts etc.
The service book is also stamped up to nearly 100k most of which is by a subaru dealer.
A couple of minor bits that could do with addressing to have a spotless car, The rear bumper had a small split in it when I brought it but I temporary fixed this and so could do with a proper fix.
The front splitter and rear spoiler could also do with a re-spray.
I have priced this for a quick sale and taking into account the above.
Offers over £4000

alright mate like your scooby i have got same one but i have a wee problem with the car i started the car the other day and it just cut out on me all of a sudden so i put the problem down to the fuel pump so i got a new upgraded fuel pump so i can get it tuned to 350 brake but i still cant the car to start so i checked to see if there was a live feed going to the pump there is no power to it so the next step i thought to take was the fuel pump relay but i havent got a clue where it is can you help please
