UPDATE----SOLD-------02/03/2010
It is with deep regret i have to advertise my car- it is one of the very last 2.0 STi "blobeye" models with full Prodrive Performance Package. It has only covered 24k miles. The car was registered on 5th March 2006 so it is in the lower tax bracket at £215pa. When new, it had most of the options ticked on the list, including PPP upgrade kit, Prodrive mudflaps, STi front splitter, STi interior mats and tinted windows by subaru from new. The car cost the first owner well over £30k....
Being one of the last 2.0 models, it has DCCD and intercooler waterspray, brembo brakes, 305 BHP engine and full prodrive exhaust system. The car really is like new and is fantastic to drive.
I have just had the car MOT'd and fully serviced by Noble Subaru in Penicuik at a cost of £500. It also had new brake pads fitted as part of the service. So, it will come with 6 months road tax, 13, yes 13 months MOT and fully serviced.
It has been serviced by Subaru since new and it has wanted for nothing. I had a new set of hawkeye STi alloys (slightly lighter shade of gold) fitted to the car 10 months ago as the original set had some light kerbing- thats how well looked after this car is! I have every receipt for the car since new and a fully stamped service book. It also has the Prodrive certificate and all alarm documentation in the proper subaru leather wallet.
I am the second owner and bought the car with 4k miles on it. It has just turned 23k this week and will be 4 year old come March! However, it really does look like new and certainly drives like it. It is washed at least twice a week and i use Auto Glym, Meguires and Victoria concour wax on it, usually once a month...!
As standard, it comes with 4 electric windows, DCCD, intercooler waterspray, air con, CD player, leather STI wheel and gearknob and blue/ black STi interior.
I am only selling this due to having a new job which requires commuting. Despite the average 27mpg, i feel this isn't a duty the car was destined for, so someone else can have the pleasure of owning such an awesome car.
Yes, there will be cheaper STi's on the market, but this is a genuine, low mileage car which is in tip-top condition, and i will not give it away.
No test drives without proof of insurance and no dreamers. And please, if you work for an agency, don't even think about it.......
£12000.

Cheers.
Yes, i think it's a bargain too and would have loved to get more for it, given the mileage and condition, but i have to be realistic! I want a quick sale and taking into account CAP valuations etc, i think 12k is a fair price. I've seen STI's going for 14k+, but they're still for sale after 2-3 months, and thats not a position i want to be in.......
