Scooby Doo Spotlight Protectors

I think the scoobynet logo would look great on this mesh, but can anyone help me find out who owns the copyright for it, as will need permission to reproduce the image and sell them I think.
The design could incorporate the full web address and creat a nice bit of advertising for scoobynet

I have designed these spotlamp protectors that are made of a special mesh that is applied directly to the spotlamp glass. They allow the image to be seen when the lamps are off, and the Light to shine straight through when they are on. They have been heat tested and can take spotlights up to 200watt bulbs with no damage at all.
Anyone want a pair, e-mail me
Regards
Mark

E-mail i got from the chap;
"They are £14.99 for the pair plus a stamped addressed
envelope for ease of return posting. They have been fully heat tested and can withstand a 200 watt spotlight on full for at least half and hour with no degradation at all and with no airflow around the spot. (we gave up testing after that time as no spot will ever be on for that length of time without dipping occasionally!)
The image is chemically bonded to the mesh so won't flake off if hit by a stone, and the mesh itself is used to protect rally car spotlights from shattering from stone chips. The mesh is stuck directly onto the lens so no having to take hard covers on and off, and because of the design of the mesh when you turn the lights on, the beam shines straight through."
Does anyone know if the size of the fogs differ between the Nissan Bluebird style Scoob and the MY01?

Hope Scooby blue answered your question. No spraying required and very easy to install, just peel and stick.
Have just sold quite a number at the Southend BHP meet after they saw them in action, including a set fitted onto cibbies.

SDB,
Fog lights are the same size for all impreza's and I believe the MY99/00 fogs are the same part no. as the MY01.
sqwint,
What designs can you get them in? I was thinking about having the design off the solid STI covers on them. Hence the question "Can they be sprayed before install?"
Cheers,
Iain.

Dyney, correct me if ive missed the point but these are designed to look good but the the light can still shine through when switched on. If you spray them how does that work ?

We will be doing a sti design in the next week or so. Thought we would start with this one for fun and to get a reaction and also as it was completly different.
We will be producing colour coded background with STI logo. Probably start with silver background as that seems to be most popular, however give me the colour of your cars and I will see what we can do.
Biggest problem is the set up costs for the art work with the printers, hence start with one design then add to the library of images. Very fortunate to have a very good artist on board, who can produce literally whatever image required.

Stuart J,
If you spray them before fitting, the mesh will still have holes in it for the light. You only spray the mesh not the light!!
Sqwint,
Thanks, STI ones would be cool. Can you post a pic when you've done them.
I saw some yesterday on Marcus's Blackbeast. Ingenious!!!![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I think they would be too flexable to paint.
Cheers,
Iain.

The STI ones will be colour coded, but using the same chemical bonding techniques employed to keep scooby looking fresh!
The prototype was hand airbrushed, but the image is much crisper when it is properly printed.
Will upload the sstis when they are ready. Starting with silver.

I am presently in talks off-line with Squint, but in the meantime I am closing this thread, as we do not allow any commercial posts in these forums.
