Talking

Ian,
I am very tempted mate. I got rid of my P1 in Jan this year and deeply regret it. I like you needed to get something a little more practicle so i traded down and got an My01 WRX see pic below..

Im sure you can see were this is going.

Just wondered if you might be interested in a P/X at least this way you could still have a Scoob!

Let me know if your interested and i can tell you more about the car.

Thankyou both for your kind words.

I know for a fact I am going to miss this car like hell - and I aways will. Three impreza turbos in the last 4 1/2 years shows how much I enjoy these AWD beasts. My intention was to keep the car indefinately and get another car - but finances do not permit such things at this point in my life

At present I am not considering PX as I am moving away from subaru and trying to get a bmw oil burner for increased economy - and something that is comfortable for my family and chocolate lab chester (who has only ever ridden in the P1 once - he prefers the boot of my wifes punto turbo) and good for towing the westi.

Please pass on the word - I want this car to go to a good home.

regards
Ian.

Ian,

I tow using a BMW `oil` burner in the form of a Td4 Land Rover Freelander and it`s excellent. 28mpg towing 1500kgs or 40mpg otherwise. Done 10k now with no faults at all and am really impressed with it`s quality / versatility.

Our retriever fits in OK even though the boot`s not that large; wife uses it for work etc.

Superb P1 by the way; looks so different with those wheels.

Good luck

Cheers for that Chris....

The westi is taking shape - much less rivets, nuts and bolts in the box - more on the car now

The wiring loom is how Craig and I will be spending our Tuesday whilst the queen is recovering from her hangover

27K - wow - maybe I should chuck an extra 1K on my price - seriously though - I think my price is fair considering specification and the care its had (more care than I give myself)

Take care.
