Just sold my 106 GTi this weekend as I am buying a house and am running a cheap car for a few months while I get everything sorted.
Was meant to be getting a Scooby about now, so was my mate. But this weekend I bought a house and he bought an RB5.
Once I'm in the house and have seatee's, wahsing machines, etc sorted out then I'll get another car, probably a UK Scooby.
Anyway, back to the point, the 106 is a superb car and I loved it.

I too had a 106 GTi before I got my Scooby, cracking car and great great fun. However, I had a silver one and Peugeot brought out the Quicksilvers which really annoyed me as once the local boy racers whos mums had one bought the GTi wheels and painted the wing mirrors silver they suddenly thought they had the GTi and I wasted so much petrol burning them of when they and fellow Nova drivers thought I was in Q/silver too.
Currently considering buying another GTi in Europe for the girlfriend, Ive worked out I can get one for 8600, brand new on the road over here. V Tempted.

Well played Rich - hope you got a good price for it. I'm going to get the VTS in autotrader within the next few weeks. Worrying lack of nice MY99's out there though

Yeah, did get a good price for it in the end, because I held out.
Could have sold it for less earlier, but I was not giving in!
Will take me a bit longer to get my Scoob now, as the house is coming first.
