Cool

Hey all, I have 2 turbos for sale first off is this apexi IHI RHF5 ball bearing turbine.. More info and stats here... IHI website.

This turbo is very much a hybrid it has a bit of lag before 4000 rpm then after that all hell breaks lose. When you change gear there is a wastegate chatter to die for, very noisey!!

Heres some pics for yall.....

A TD05 and the apexi together...

And the TD05 on its lonesome...

Prices:

TD05...£150.
APEX'I.... £450

Maybe open to offers depending on interest..

Thanks for your time.

Please post here or mail me at cryptwalk@aol.com

Thumbs up

Yes it has come of a my95 wrx import.

Unsure on the horsepower mark as i never had chance to get it on the rollers. I think and i'm not cirtan that a hybrid usually gives about 30bhp depending on the setup? Please feel free anyone to correct me if i'm wrong.

I have a UK 2000 (V) will my engine managment system like it?

I am after the noise, more than anything else.

Will the hybrid, take anti Lag too???

Question

The noise, the noise. It does sound soo good on boost.
Unfortunatly I have very limited technical knowledge to answer your question. Do you not know of a specialist you could ask? I cannot see how it would affect the engine management but as yours is a 2000 models the inlet maybe different?

Sorry i'm not more knowledgable.

Let me know if you struggle to sell the td05 and I may take it off your hands for a knockdown price!

Typical, I go on holiday for a week and the pictures and spec of the Apexi turbo finally appear. If you have still got it I'm still interested.

ill give you twenty quid for the td05..

That Apexi must be a bargain for someone... It will even fit newer scoobs if you hacksaw the front off along where the right angle has been welded on..

btt

As nobody wants the Apexi turbo I will give you £350 for it including p&p. I will risk it and hope my engine doesn't blow up like yours. Mail me your details and I will get a cheque in the post to you.

The apexi wassent on at time of det. This turbo has nothing to do with my engine letting go. That is due to the weak big ends on a subaru.

Alan you have mail.
