Royal Silver MY00 for sale
#1
Due to arrival of my new toy (RS2) I have to let my scooby go. I'm struggling to justify having 2 turbocharged 4WD cars on the driveway!
4 door Turbo 2000. UK car. Registered Nov 1999 (MY00 with updated dash, wheels and colour coded mirrors). Supplied and serviced by Bell & Collvil. 1 owner. I have all invoices for all service work carried out by B&C. 39K (mainly motorway cruising) miles.
This car was kept sub 4000 rpm for the first 1.5k and is religiously kept sub 4000 rpm until warm. It has only ever been hand washed and is garaged. Sad but true. It has never had any accidents and all paintwork and bodywork is original and immaculate.
In addition to the normal bits, it has the following:
Air-con
Gold alloys (brand new P-Zeros fitted)
Kenwood CD Multi-changer system and bloody loud Infinity speakers fitted front and back
Scooby Sport exhaust (original available if wanted)
Intercooler protector
New Pagid Blue pads
It is curretly registed with the plate 'V8 WRC' (valued at c£1000) which is not included within the price below, but can be negotiated.
I am asking £12,500 for this. Bargain, in my humble opionion.
If you want any more informaiton, please call Mark on 07798 920071, or reply to this message.

I've been keeping my eye on this one in autotrader. Miles are a little higher than I'm looking for and there are a few other cars I'm currently looking at but yours is certainly being considered.
When was its last service and when is its next one (normal, fluids or belt?) Have you got rid off the cats or just changed the back box?
Cheers,
Kenny

Although it has done 39K it really is immaculate. Most of those miles have been motorway cruising so it's certainly had an easy life. I tend to travel very early so it's spent most of it's life cruising in top!!! It was properly run-in and is NEVER taken above 4000 rpm until properly warmed up. It is only fed Optimax (and before that was introduced, Super).
I have only changed the back box and can supply the original, if you want it.
The two parts of Scooby ownership you have to accept are:
1. You spend half your life in petrol stations.
2. You spend the rest of your life arranging for the car to be serviced!
The next service will be one of the bigger ones (my experience the prices of services seem to vary from about £100 up to £300)
If you are after an immaculate car, come and have a look. If you want any further info, or would like to arrange a visit, then give me a call on 07798 920071.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards
Mark

If you don't have any joy with the other cars then give me a call.
I will be away from Sunday until Thursday next week so don't expect a reply from me during that period.
I can be available this Saturday if you wanted to come over and have a look, just let me know by Friday night. Up to you.
Cheers

If you would like to arrange a visit to have a look at the car, please let me know and I will provide you with some instructions on how to find us.
I'm planning to sell the call back to a dealer within the next week or so, so you'll have to let me know soon if you're interested! The best number to get me on is 07798 920071.

Of course.....
....but then may may no longer want to buy a Scooby!!!!!
It may be quicker and have a considerbly posher cabin, but it doesn't have that fantastic flat-four soundtrack. I'll miss that.
Hope to hear from you soon.
