He won't go as low as £5700, and with regards to the interior when he bought the car the dealer told him it was an Sti interior so that is what he based his description on.

Not ALL Jap imports have the suede type seats fitted to them. Some come with cloth that looks like a zebra pattern on them. The interior shown in these pic's is known as Alcantara interior which as someone already has pointed out, similar to the STi interior but without the embroidered STi logo on the back support. U may notice as well that the seat part on the STi is all suede (where ur a@se goes when driving). Hope this helps

I have learnt quite a bit from all the above posts. I have a 95' WRX Jap Import and have always wondered about the guages above the radio slot and the style of furnishings.

My interior is exactly the same as in the picture; the same Nardi Torino steering, the same gauges and the same seats. The difference is mine has stainless steel shiny sill covers and plastic trays for mats that have Impreza embossed in them.

The exhaust also looks the same, however I have a JASMA exhaust with a Fujitsumo shiny muffler thing on the end that makes the exhaust look huge...

Oh well...
