Due to buying something else, my MX5 is for sale.
Details are:
Mazda MX5 Roadster 1.8iS
Japanese import.
1998R Latest Shape (no square numberplates)
Classic Red
39000 miles (proper speedo & mileometer conversion)
6 speed gearbox
Bose Hi-Fi
Bilstein handling kit (as latest UK 1.8 Sport)
Limited Slip Diff
Air conditioning
Usual S spec, including airbags, 5 spoke factory alloys, stainless kickplates etc.
4 spanking new Bridgestone tyres
Full service history (initially Japanese, & then UK main dealer)
Perfect condition. No dings, chips, kerbed wheels etc, hood unmarked. Never painted or panelled.
I chose the import over UK due to the far higher spec. Unsure if Jap cars have more power, but it eats a mate's new 1.8 Sport, and will give CrisPDuk's Legacy a run for its money.
More reliable than an MG, as much fun, more livable and half the price of an Elise, and the golf clubs fit in the boot unlike an MR2.
Currently in JP Rose's showroom in Macclesfield for £10500. (www.jprose.com).
Wave £8000 in my face and I will hand the keys over.
