Hi there,
i am told it has 300bhp as standard according to ETA Tauri subaru impreza reference site.
http://www.iwoc.co.uk/jpimp4.html
mine is model number GC8E2DD which is supposed to have 300bhp as standard.
Its a good site where it tells you the applied model of your vehicle.
For those buying a sub and worried about what model it may be or not in some cases.....
Got my heart set on a V5 or V6 2dr coupe now.
For the price its the best performance 2dr car you will get.....(Standard)

All Sti 4's (& 5's & 6's !) have 280 horses as standard (probably slightly less when run on UK fuel.
That thing about the gentlemans agreement is indeed true - ie there is a verbal agreement, but Subaru tended to stick with this & only produce cars with 280.
I could of course be wrong - but I have never seen an STi dyno'd with anywhere near 300bhp as standard.

****. London.
This one is still listed for sale on the Autotrader web site, but sez it is only 37miles way, private. Have you bought this and are selling it on because you know you can get more than the 9750 they were asking??
