Ive just found this scooby in Japan. It will cost around (probably a bit under), just £5000 to import the car over from Japan. The price includes cost of the car, shipping, import duties, vat and an ESVA test with 6 months tax and 1 years MOT. the car is amazing. Its only a 1993 so its a K plate but its a red wrx-RA turbo with only 93000Km on the clock which works out about 55000 miles. It has colour coded bumpers and a roll cage in it. Can always take this out though if you dont want that!
Email me frank@davidhoward.co.uk if you are interested and if you want pics. Sorry guys, didnt know how to post pics up here!

Car is sold already!
It was a nice car. Ive been looking at imports quite a bit. I just bought a black M reg with 50000 km on it (so worked out around 30000 miles) for £5000 with all import duties, vat etc. The car is well nice. Came with 2 set of alloys, full stainless steel system. There are ways of getting around the vat, so if you are importing let me know! It is completely legal, just saves that bit more.
yes you do have to underseal the car but that isnt alot. Service, debateable. ive imported a few cars over from Japan and they have been running well nice and didnt need a service
Cat 1 isnt that much either, about £250 inc fitting. So you get a nice car for £5250. It was a k reg but immaculate. Then again so is my M reg!
I didnt get it from that site either. That site is to expensive. lol
Darren King, drop me an email at frank@davidhoward.co.uk and ill have a look for you

a 93 car doesn't need an ESVA a normal SVA will do.
you do need to pay VAT on imports as well as duty, you even pay VAT on the duty![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
take the FOB price of the car add shipping add duty add VAT.
Doesn't sound like a cracking deal to me, it's not bad but not great.
Once you allow for a cat1 alarm, a good service (car won't have been run for a while), underseal (if needed), your up to 6k, like I say good but not deal of century.
Looking at that website not sure about there auction grades - a grade 5 is not a repaired vehicle.
All IMO of course.
