It's an 1996 N reg in Red. Last of the old shape. Rolling roaded at 135bhp before superchip was put in. In the region of 150+ bhp now. Superchip and lowering springs only 3 months old before I took it off the road. I've been told the passive rear wheel steer was only available on the older shape XSI's

Not sure how to attach photos on here, but I have some that I can send via e-mail if you are interested.
Any sensible offer considered.

Nova unfortunately wouldn't fit in the wheelie bin, but was just about OK for my sister as her first car. Didn't last long after she drove it. I think it ended up in a skip.

what about the S16 and GTi6 - both more than 150

However - a 150 XSI is well rare

Had a phase 1 GTI6 before the scoob - I'm told that was pretty rare too!! wicked cars, I put the phase 2 rear lights on it and it finished it off a treat

Thats a nice looking car mate, good luck with the sale!

BTW - a lowered 306 like this can corner at serious speed

Sorry, Ment a 150bhp XSI is rare.
The phase 1 XSI is the only model I know that has the passive rear wheel steer. Had to buy a Scooby just to beat the handling on this Pug.

Your not wrong mate! My Phase 1 GTi-6 also had the passive rear steer, and I still say that mine (lowered and adjusted torsions) cornered as well as a standard scoob it was like it was glued to the road I would imagine this to be no different

Good luck with the sale!

Oh, and BTT for ya

Loved it when the rear wheel steer kicks in going round a round a bout. Felt like the back end is coming out, and your first reaction is to correct it. Put a nice set of Falken low profile tyres on it, and it handled exactly the same in the wet.
