Hi Pete,

Thats a bit of a deal:-) I paid 1300 for my 6 row! I 10 row is well over an extra £100.

With the link ECU I made 347bhp 310 ft lbs / Andy Tang 356bhp 300 ft lbs / Alan Mcrae 363 bhp 311 ft lbs!!!!

I believe bob charges £350 for a full map up it could be £250 if the unit was bought from them which is the case...damn that is a good deal, if I get a MY99 I will have it of you but I am waiting for cash from the insurance co.

I am not going to say good luck selling it cause your not going to need it m8 with warranty and big savings!

Cheers

Moe

I have for sale

1 x my99 link ecu with 10 row 'q' chip
1 x Knock link
1 x Lamda link
1 x 3 port boost solenoid

Arguably the most popular ecu for the Subaru Impreza, as seen on many high performance cars from this board, as used by Moe (topcat), andy tang (tango), craig hardman (craigh), David Taylor (trout) etc, etc.
This ecu package has nothing to prove, comes with later 10 row chip (instead of the original 6 i think it was).

Would highly recommend using bob Rawle to map it, please check for fitment if your car is anything other than a my99 (which mine was) as i would not like to quote which models it fits.

Already out of car with the two modules and ready to ship.

£650 ono

Edited to add 3 port boost solenoid as well which is an extra £140 new!

I may be incorrect, and you may have to check yourself through bob or some other link knowledgeable person, but 22b has same ecu type my97/98 so would be the one before mine.......

i stand to be corrected if im wrong lol.....

I am running a 10 row link with the type 'R' chip...

These work very well... ask Tim W, Moe, R19KET.... my car is performing very well at the high end of the uk internals spectrum!!!

This is worth more than Pete is asking so if you are thinking about getting one snap it up...

IT WONT BE AROUND FOR LONG!

Geoff,

You'll need a MY97/98 Link along with the 22B chip.

Contact BRD for your requirements.

Thumbs up

Nice bit of kit Pete, I bought Andy's Link ECU etc off him over 6 months ago, changed my Unichip on my 1999 STI-V, the difference after Bob mapped my car is far superior to how it originally was setup, this is a bargain, anyone who wants a mappable ECU should get this!

Question

Would this kit need anything extra on a MY99 UK car?
Solenoid's etc...

I would recommend any prospective purchaser talks with Bob to confirm the use of a three port solenoid. But this can also be purchased and fitted at time of map. (assuming bob would be doing it), can of course be purchased seperately from brd and other link stockists if a different mapper was to be used.

The ten row was specified with a two port solenoid - which is what I run on my car. It will not work with a 22b as that is a phase I and has a number of differences.

Trout

PS Alan McCrae posted 358bhp on the board - when did he get 363bhp
