Hi mark,
A few Q's about the car presuming it's still up for sale.
When's the next service due?
Has it done any trackdays?
Is the Warranty still valid with all the mods?
Are all original parts included in the sale?
Are they just lowered springs or shocks as well?
Has it got a CAT 1 alarm and does the barrier deadlock help out with the insurance premium?
Cheers
Dave

Dave give me a call 07767 881710 the car is a superb example.
A few Q's about the car presuming it's still up for sale.
When's the next service due?
18/10/02 (cam belt service was done early at 42,000 3year service as I don't manage the Subaru average 15,000 miles a year.)
the cam belt service is £450.00 other services come in at about £120 ish)
Has it done any trackdays?
never seen the redline line or trackdays ever.
Is the Warranty still valid with all the mods?
no engine mods done, suspension, dampers are the same only the springs are changed so no warranty issues.
brakes the calipers are unchanged, the brake lines were done by a Subaru dealer so no probs here, discs are not warranted to my knowledge. I have standard discs still available + EBC drilled and grooved as well as the black diamond discs currently on the car. To my knowledge the extras on the car have no impact on warranty as all are better quality than standard parts. All standard parts are available plus the receipts for the extras.
Are all original parts included in the sale?
absolutely, the 17" wheels will also probably be included depends on agreed price.
Are they just lowered springs or shocks as well?
only the springs are changed, the original dampers remain, the bbs has many comments on Eibach springs. I found they lowered the car about 20mm (not the reason I bought them) they take out the small amount of body roll inherent in the 99 car. Work very well in my opinion. Car has never bottomed even 4 up with luggage and 2 dogs (dog gaurd included + boot liner if wanted)
Has it got a CAT 1 alarm and does the barrier deadlock help out with the insurance premium?
cat 1 is standard fitment from Subaru (sigma m30 alarm) deadlock in my experience wasn't cheaper from my ins company, but they all seem to know about it, very discrete and professional piece of kit. the bottom line is I look after the car and don't want any oink knicking it.
Cheers Mark
