The car is in very good condition and the top end of the engine has just been overhauled with new head gasket skimmed head, new camshaft and followers.

Well, I used to have one too when I was at Uni. 
Great little car, pretty quick, good handling, nice interior, cheap insurance, good on fuel, etc...
Had mine for 2 years and it was great.

Hi all
I put rare cause I haven't seen many about not the injected versions anly available on a 'k' plate as far as I am aware.
Thanks for putting the pic up Rich it is exactly the same but with 14" steel wheels in stnd anthracite colour.
Its is in very good condition, a slight wiper score on the screen service history up to about 60k. The previous owner assures me he had it from new but I haven't got the log book through.
I brought the car with it needing the new cam, so had all the head skimmed with brandnew camshaft and followers( Did the work myself as I'm a skilled mechanic
I've used it as an in between car untill the tax ran out so it stays a 'one owner car'
I think thats about it....oh it does sound nice with all the top end being overhauled!

LOL I was just joking about the "rare" bit! 
Although, they didn't make many and they were only available on late J & K plates, mine was a late '92 J reg one. People don't realise that these are a lot quicker than the 1.4 carb models and virtually as quick as the GSi becuase the SRi weighed a bit less.
As for the wheels, those standard anthracite steel rims are worth good money and some guy bought mine for £40 a wheel & tyre, so I got them sold quick smart.
That pic is from a Revs 1/4 mile thrash at Bruntingthorpe a few years back...
