but did you ever wash the bonnet again? 
i've got the car magazine as well, was also a major decision for me to get an sti, cheers darren
also remember reading your site (i think) about it as well.

The car driven by Vicki Butler Henderson in Jeremery Clarksons. At full throttle.
The car that was one on the cover of Car magazine in Jan 2000. It also had a 2 page spread inside.
The car has covered 52000 miles and has been serviced by Scoobysport.
Colour: Cool Grey Mica
Leda C suspension.
Brembo/AP brakes
Full Scoobysport exhaust system.
Alpine CTA1505 headunit with 6 disk changer.
STI Boost Gauge
Clifford Alarm Concept 50X
Spare wheels and tyres for track days.
Looking for 14.5K for the car.

Darren,I have that very Car magazine & looking at your car was probably THE major factor in my purchasing a Scoob
However as the local thieving scum have already given me enough trouble with my humble UK 97 I daren't get anything nicer

I too have that magazine. I found it in a newsagency when I was still living in OZ, back in January 2000. Pete Croney's old car is in there too. Cars looked beautiful.
