Ian, your last post is dated Saturday 9th November - given that you've obviously got access to a time machine perhaps you could tell us all what the MY03 looks like?
Just waiting for some braided lines and then thanks to you I'll see the end of 2-pot hit and hope braking.

Mike P:
I had a set from Ian too but mine are both Offside ones! They are handed, do you have a proper left and right pair?
Regards
Craig (waiting patiently to be able to stop the beast).

Cat 051 - sorry its taken me a while to reply, been on holiday.
Just spoken to Ian @ Stan Palmer and I'll check the calipers when I get home, hopefully then I can see if I have two identical calipers or a proper pair.

Sounds like you are the man as Ian says the last person on his list had an out of office message reply! If you have a proper set then I am stuffed! You should have two left hand side ones. It would also be intersting to know if both yours have anti rattle clips as I only have one callipers with one on. It might be the only way of identifying between the correct pairs, I for one would like to get the pairs matched correctly just in case any problems arise if they aren't matched.

Are the anti rattle clips those thingys that sit on top of the caliper above the brake pad? Looks like a cross shape with one pair of arms longer than the other and hook under the pins that the pads run on? If so then I have one on each caliper.
I'll take some snaps tonite and send them to Ian, and will hopefully get this sorted ASAP

Craig, don't know if Ian's been in touch, but I checked my calipers last night and they are a proper pair ie calipers are mirror images of each other - I sent Ian some photos and confirmed that mine were a set.
Sorry I can't help you make up your pair. He said he dispatched 4 sets, and I don't see how 3 of us can have sets and you end up with 2 identical calipers, unless the car they came off had a wrong set? Have the other people who bought them 100% confirmed that theirs are OK?

Ian claims they have all confirmed that they have correct pairs He has sent an email round a load of dealerships to try to track me down a left hand calliper. Lord knows how they ended up with two right hand ones. Just my luck to get them though. Still the braided hoses still haven't come from Scoobysport yet so I can't do the job anyway. Thanks for the response and happy braking (do they make an appreciable difference?).
#25
Sorry to hear that, Craig - hopefully they'll be able to track one down for you. Haven't had them fitted yet, got to wait a couple of weeks and I'm having it done during my MOT and service.
I'll let you know how I get on with them if you're interested - hopefully I won't be sending a live report from a hedge
