Thumbs up

Hello all,
Just to inform you that Robinsons of Rochdale 01706 716655 are having a MONSTER sale weekend the 14th & 15Th September.
I have just picked up a BRAND NEW set of STi7 alloys with tyres (all original spec) for £595 for 4 including VAT.These were not in the sale, but just priced very competativley.

Who says STI7 alloys are worth a £1000 second hand?

They have one set of STi7 wheels and tyres, 3 sets of STi7 headlamps, several complete STi7 exhausts sytems (the tailpipe will fit a WRX bugeye) to get rid of the twin outlet tailpipe.
They have a set of WRX 17" MY01/02 alloys with tyres.
A couple of MY01/02 WRX turbo rear spoilers in WR blue.

All above bits BRAND NEW and very cheap.

Additionally they have sets of alloys from MY99/99, MY00, Speedline Comp 2? etc etc, second hand and very, very cheap.

Subaru clothing at cost price or less, motorbike helmets (fullface ACU approved from £50), and a full range of motorbike clothing accessories, AND motorbikes at dramatic discounts.

Arai, Nolan,Shark helmets at giveaway prices.
Up to 75% of Belstaff & alpinestars clothing.
Eg Belstaff Pro-Toura jackets were £199 now £39.99!!!!
Triumph clothing HALF price.
Triumph Sprint RS (+£600 of accesories) & Triumph Sprint ST both £5995 otr.
They sell aprilia, KTM, Triumph, Peugot, Honda, Gilera, bikes as well as Subaru, Isuzu cars.

Brand new WRX MY02 Turbos £19995.

0% finance on all used cars.

********************************

A P1 breaking for spares, all parts available, including Prodrive suspension, engine (24,00 miles), gearbox, full interior trim etc

Give them a call and see what they've got.

Tell them MTR told you. It might get you some more discount.

Cheers MTR

Just to clarify a point made on th egeneral question section, re this offer.

NOBODY IS BEING RIPPED OFF.

All the items that have come off new cars have been BOUGHT FROM THE ORIGINAL CUSTOMER BY ROBINSONS.
When someone swaps his brand new STi headlights for Morrettes for example, they are given a discount off the full price in a part exchange type scenario, for the removed items.
The same applies for spoilers and wheels.

It would take a pretty foolish person to hand over a £1800 for some 18" wheels and not excpect something back for their unused std spec wheels. Unless they wish to keep them for themselves.

Robinsons then take the risk that they may not then sell on the part exchanged items , and so they take the financial risk, not the customer.

That strikes me as a pretty fair way of doing business, IMO of course, based on fact not assumption.

In response to comments about not phoning you back, try them again, they have been getting a LOT of phone calls.
The parts dept is always frenetic at the best of times.
Persevere.

Cheers MTR

Wheels currently STILL available,

STI7 Wheels + tyres £595

Speedline Comp 2 16" wheels only secondhand,

MY00 six spoke 16" four sets. 3 silver, 1 gold, some with tyres.

MY01 WRX 17" silver wheels, no tyres.

17" P1 Anthracite wheels with worn tyres.

Phone 01706 716655 ask for Matthew Robinson, I have just spoken to him on th ephone 1:05 pm, Wednesday 11th Sept.

As for the price on WRX's it doesn't cost anything to ask if they can beat someone elses price, does it. I don't know if they will but, who knows.

Cheers MTR

There's still stuff left.
Don't miss out. Ignore comments about there being nothing left, phone up and check yourselves.

MTR, called them about the STI bugeyes, very helpful but said none in the sale or available, only to order as new? Have they all gone or did I just speak to the wrong guy, I assume the parts department are handling this.

Thanks

boulsty.

Ripped off!! no i dont think so....

Got a full set of MY01 alloys and new tyres for £525

Full VAT receipt/co. car so that will be claimed back

Sold my old wheels with worn tyres for £220

£20 spent on fuel to get the job sorted

i started the day wanting new tyres and was quoted £94 per corner, do the maths on the above.... ripped off? NO but dead chuffed.

i think that works out at about £73 per corner wheels & tyres

If I put some STi wheels how would that affect my warranty?
I am interested in some alloys for a pal.
Why do I get the impression this is a deceitful way to advertise?
I thought the for sale forum was for private sales, not full blown comercial adverts for Robinsons. Are you connecting in some way MTR? Just a quesion and I dont want a fall out though it does seem strange

Alanjack,
I am not related to or in any way connected to Robinsons, other than as a satisfied customer.

If they are so good, then they can dip there hands in there pockets and purchase a banner ad.......or sign up to Scoobyshop.

Either way this thread is being locked, as it is boarding extremely on the commercial side.

MTR,
Perhaps you could bring them onboard with Scoobyshop, so they can be represented officially. Email me direct, if you would like more details.

Regards,
Shaun.
