'00 WRX - GENUINE wolf in sheep's clothing
#1
Registration - W2 WRX !!!
Import and registered new in UK March '00, version 6 WRX, 280+bhp. 1 previous owner.
Silver with typical Japanese spec extras including folding mirrors, air conditioning, white dials etc.
Full service history with Mobil 1 Motorsport at short intervals.
Just had gearbox, rear diff, clutch and brake fluids changed.
Tax till March, no MOT required till March.
Currently has ScoobySport downpipe and backbox plus ITG panel filter giving awesome exhaust note and fantastic throttle response. (Still got old parts including CAT).
Running standard 0.9 bar boost, power calculated by 'Road-Dyno' unit to be in excess of 300bhp with 256lbft of torque at about 4800rpm.
Boost gauge fitted (boost has never been increased from standard).
STI struts and alloy suspension which has been set up on laser alignment rig, now able to cope perfectly with the power.
Standard WRX gearbox (not close ratios) giving good motorway performance but it is still like lightening off the mark in anybody's book.
Wax-oiled underneath to prevent corrosion (very good condition).
Looks like a standard UK car (no WRX badge) but is obviously in a different league.
Crystal clear indicators + side repeaters and discrete fog light just fitted too.
REASON FOR SALE - Forthcoming mortgage (and associated female!) has dented the Scooby fund! Also tempation and ability to break the speed limit is very high especially when used every day.
25,000 miles.
£15,495 ono - Make me an offer.
Fantastic car, gutted to let it go. Decided that wakeboarding and size 8 bird will be some form of compensation!
Also for sale - FLETCHER 155 ARROWSPORT SPEEDBOAT - £2,995

Just had some EVO guys askin why they'd want a Scooby! Cheeky b*****ds! :-)
I said cos this will go as fast as is required and won't cost the earth to run. My mate has had an EVO VI for 10 months and it's cost him on average £830/month for the £15k loan, fuel, parts and servicing! That's not including the depreciation!
No arguing his car was fast (365bhp) but in normal circumstances he had to drive like a t**t to see a real advantage. I let him go, good job really as he's facing a ban!
No wonder he's selling it!

It's £500 cheaper than it was in May plus I've sorted the suspension, put new filter, downpipe and b-box on etc etc.
All together I must have spent over a grand on it since then.
Aren't women and mortgages an ****!!!!!!!!!! How things can change in 4 months!
