*** Defi VSD 2 unit (heads up display) ***
#1
I have for sale a VSD 2 unit for sale, the unit mounts on the dashboard and display the readout via a little clear stick on patch onto your windscreen.
Spec for VSD 2 is as follows :-
The V.S.D.II is a "heads up" virtual display instrument that projects the image of digital speedometer and tachometer readings onto an area of the vehicle windshield.
The instrument also incorporates an LED light bar that provides an analogue display of vehicle speed or engine revolution speed. With vehicles having manual transmissions, the instrument can be set to indicate a predetermined engine speed at which the vehicle may be shifted into the next gear.
The V.S.D.II, Speedometer and Tachometer system utilizes NS's HUD(Heads Up Display) technology to project virtual gauges into the driver's line of sight.
The unit provides an alphanumeric display of vehicle speed and engine revolutions. As well as an LED light bar that provides a driver selectable analog display of speed or engine revolutions.
Other features include a programmable display that allows the step value of the speedometer and tachometer display to be adjusted and a memory function that stores vehicle maximum speed.
The Speedometer display can be set to read MPH or km/h.
Fluorescent digital display combined with analog LED display features unique four modes display.
Flashing LED displays unit status at 0 MPH.
The LED display can be used to determine the appropriate time to shift to the next gear, since the LED step value can be set to suit individual preference.
Capable of storing maximum speed.
Three levels of display brightness can be selected with the press of one switch.
Can be installed on 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 cylinder vehicles with 4 cycle engines.
The LED display is available in red or blue.
Cost £140 new, sell for £100
buyer to collect or pay postage/arrange collection.

If you look at the vsd2 link on the first, there are installation instructions there etc, i can't say how easy they are to fit as that obviously depends on your own fitting skills.
