I have just brought this from a friend who needed a very quick sale, but have decided its a bit too big for me. Its a 1988 (new shape)but with a private plate to hide the year. After cleaning it up I could not believe the condition..its immaculate for the year, here's the details:
Manual transmission
Finished in white
Dark brown velour trim
Most service history and reciepts
Std cross spoke alloys
Sold with full mot
Tax nov
Fully loaded with trip computer etc.
Now its got 170k on the clock, only 3 owners and you would not believe it is a dream to drive.

Bummer 
I'm looking around for a cheap (up to 3-4k) old exec motor with aircon to use as a daily driver. I keep thinking of a diesel, but I'm not sure if I can handle the absence of grunt

Ok mate....winters coming though, good heater
I know what you mean about grunt, I was supprised how well this goes for a big car it don't hang around.
