This is an unfinished kit car with all the hard work already done! The kitcar is called a Hadleigh Sprint and is a Morgan replica.

The kit is based on a 1986 2.0 Ford Sierra (includes the registration document so it should keep its original plate), has independent rear suspension, Wishbone fronts, 2.0 Pinto engine and 5 speed gearbox. It has a lovely louvred aluminium bonnet, sweeping fibreglass wings, doors (including side protection bars) and windscreen with aluminium surround and rubber seal.

The car has been completed to a very high standard, is well beyond the rolling chassis stage and can be pushed around which makes life easier. All the suspension, steering, brakes/braking system, engine, gearbox, propshaft are fitted and the wiring loom is in situ and ready to be connected in. The suspension has Spax coil over shocks which as most will know are not cheap!

It comes with all the bodywork required to finish with the exception of the bootlid which is just a simple square panel that could easily be made from a piece of MDF or ply covered fibreglass.

It comes with lots of parts including all the lights, fuel tank, heater, switches, and a gorgeous custom made walnut dashboard containing the speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, voltmeter, and water temp gauge. This has its own wiring loom fitted which simply plugs straight into the main wiring loom via two multi-connectors so it can easily be removed if need be. All the wiring was professionally custom made especially for the kit, is very good quality and comes with all instructions. Even the connections from the main loom to the steering switches (indicators, headlights, ignition etc) were custom made to clip directly onto the existing sierra steering column multi-connectors!

So basically all it needs to complete is the following... Exhaust, cooling system, completion of electrics, interior, final bodywork fitting (has been trial fitted) and paintwork.

If you have any questions or would like to view the car then do not hesitate to get in touch. Remember, you are bidding to buy the car, not just come have a look!

Over £3000 has been spent on the kit to date but I'm looking for offers over £1000...

Thanks

Richard

Thread is nearly 8 years old mate!!!! I suspect that the car might have been sold by now, or at the very least completed!
