Conversely why would you sell a car to a complete stranger (who may or may not turn up/**** you about/carjack it/pay in forged notes etc.) when you can get the same money from a dealer. Just offer 20,100 if you want it

Just curious, not having a pop.
Why would you accept 20k from a dealer but not in cash from a private punter A lot of people on here would vouch for my credibility, for instance.

Truth is I need £22K so I can afford my next car. I think £20K offered by a dealer is a bit low considering the car is only 6 months old.
If the car is sold this weekend all well and good, if not then I suppose I will have to make do with it a bit longer.
