I would just like to add that i have purchased many products from DrivingMachine in the past, and have never had any problems whatsoever.
And one should always sign for an item after checking it properly.

if you wish..
In the photo's ,was this the box you sent the computer in ???
If yes, I will bet you £200.00 That no NORMAL AMOUNT of tape was ever put on that box. If a tiny piece was put over the "Flap" that doesnt count.
If not (But you would have told us by now ??)..Then The whole thread and my opinions needs to be changed.

right firstly the moneys not the issue here, whats 150 pounds, do u really think i would go through all this to con someone out of 150 pounds?
The point is i have to see what the parcel company say first after they investigate it. Thats the way to do business, not hand out the money before its even been looked at. As well as this they want to speak to him and also see the packaging - as they would have told him when he put the claim in.
Now what if i pay him and he refuses to co-operate? where does that leave me? 150 pound and one laptop short.
Theres only so much i can do, i cant be blamed if they take their time handling the claim.
If u want to talk about curtious - firstly if the goods didnt arrive, u keep in touch with the person u bought the stuff off. Not post on a bbs board and wait for him to read it there - i gave him my mobile number and told him to ring me, instead he continuosly keeps posting up here bad mouthing me.
So moto from now on, if u got anything to say mail me, i cant be arsed dealing with sh1tty comments from others.

WELL TAKED TO PARCEL FORCE AND IT GONE ..THE BOX IT WAS SENT IN HAD NOT ONE BIT OF TAPE ON IT SO ANYONE COULD OPEN IT..WHICH I THINK WAS THE POINT OF NOT PACKING IT PROPERLY IN THE FIRST PLACE.SO THEY SAY MAKE A CLAIM WHICH HAS TO BE DONE BYE THE SENDER ...GREAT.
SO DRIVEING MACHINE SEND ME A CHEQUE AND THEN YOU SORT ALL THE SH-IT OUT

So are you saying that it was just boxed and sent.Or could there have been Tape on it?? and this was removed.
Even if it was a Naked laptop. He paid for it to be delivered to you. They lost it. they pay. They accepted the parcel they should be responsible

I would expect any parcel sent to me to be wrapped in a manner that would protect the item and not come loose. If it was just wrapped like a quick after thought then that takes the matter into a different part of the park..... |But it is still down to "Parcel Force to deliver.
Good luck. I belive they will pay.

Moto the parcel was boxed and closed tightly. Why are u so obsessed with tape???? Even if it was taped whoever took it would just take the tape off and take the laptop. If youre accusing me of sending an empty box, speak to anyone who has ever bought anything off me. I always deliver. I'm gonna speak to parcel force tommorow.
