thanks peter it would fit but would have to tig weld up the dump valve hole and move it to the right .there's no room to fit the 99 dump valve when the cooler is on the car.and to all yes still for sale my mobile is 07903314346..same as i paid 150..thanks

HI ALL STI 5 INTERCOOLER FOR SALE WILL FIT STRAGHT ON TO A MY99 OR 00MY.I BROGHT IT FOR MY MY 98 BUT IT WILL ONLY FIT IF I MOD IT AND CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO DO IT..150 NO OFFERS

a fair bit larger and gives the option to run increased sized pipework (basically sti pipework).

Now im confused, how did my friend fit it to his my94 wrx, fairly sure he didnt have to weld anything!

The Y piece hose on the STI is bigger than on the standard Uk which is why prodrive put that nice blue samco hose in their upgrade.

How good are the fins on that intercooler? I held a PPP My99 one up against my STI4 one and the main problem was the bracket and not the dump valve.

I might consider a trade if you also have the DV?

sti 5 and 6 intercoolers are the same but you do need the ally y peace that is missing from that intercooler(not cheap!!!)
