Daddy-P,
My mail is down at the moment but will mail you as soon as I get it back.

Simon, out of interest, a local trader who knows his scoobs and the market up here said if he had it, his forecourt price would be 20k, so that might give an indication of what you're looking at. It is a very special car, but if no reasonable offers come, I'll keep it and throw a shedload more money in upgrades at it!

The non STi WRX type RA version 5 LTD's do not have a roof vent. Check the Subaru sales catalogues if you're in any doubt!

I have a V6 WRX RA Limited and was offered 17K part ex recently just to give you an idea. Mine isnt the same spec but adjusting for mileage and kit differences it wont be far off that IMHO. They are great cars and not many about.

One thing tha puzzles me is that you have side skirts, the RAs dont normally have them, did you fit them or were they an optional extra ?

The car was imported from new and these were fitted when they arrived. Not sure if this was an option or if they were as standard on the version 5 Limited range.

Would be happy enough with 17k but no less. Cars up here seem to move for a bit more apparently, and the wheels fitted cost £600 EACH from STi japan, before shipping, import duty and tyres!

Side skirts were not standard on any RA.

You have ABS so that means no adjustable diff controler or Intercooler sprays. It also has the low level UK spec rear spoiler.

Looks very similar to Chrisp's car.

Thanks for pointing out it has the useful ABS as opposed to the "extras" that are right up there with the bright switch. Out of interest, I hear that chris's motor is quicker than yours, true?

Also very observant of you to point out the subtle mid level STi rear spoiler as opposed to the picnic table bolted on the back.

I doubt mine is quicker than JFs I have seen him drive and would destroy me on the twisties (in his old sport) .

Heres mine for comparsion. I agree mine has the same STI4 spoiler, and yes much more subtle than the STI5 coffee table one LOL .

Sound like yours is tuned a bit more than mine as I am running the standard ECU rather than the link ECU.

Anyway didnt want to take over the thread just interested in a fellow RA owner or nearly ex-RA owner. Good luck selling it and a free BTTT .

Cheers

ChrisP

Red face

I wont comment on how useful the extras i mentioned are to some drivers who understand them.

I was pointing out the fact that for some, they might prefer ABS and a normal centre diff like a P1, rather than the more versatile but less easy to exploit centre diff controller. Also the version4 spoiler is less in ya face so that could be a positive too for some people.

No idea which chris you refer too, but i couldnt give a toss who had a faster car than me, if that was your point?

Not at all John, no criticism to your post was intended, merely banter!

Nobody want to offload an elise as winter approaches in return for this beauty?
