Bump

My old car.... I imported this one from new so if you have any queries about the cars former life mail me.

Had this car for 12 months from new, washed it every week (only ever by hand and only ever used Wax Wizard)

I sourced the wheels, other bits and bobs and fitted all the gauges inside.... oh and I was the one that did the colour coding inside which has peoples opinions so divided (but for the record I still think it looks good and would do it again if I bought another)

Anyway.... as said anything I can help with just mail me

H (ex MY00...see above)

For some reason, it's been deleted !

Here it is...

Time to move on and have fun elsewhere (and it's costing me a fortune!), so it's up for grabs.

MY00 (UK Spec), 32k mls with FSH (Dealer + specialists), oil change every 3,750 (just undergone 'big 30' service). Taxed to end of March 03.

Boost gauge fitted on A-pillar, Centre console gauge pack, Lambda Link, KnockLink, Scorpion d/p, Janspeed decat center, Magnex b/b, ITG panel filter, Resonator removed, Blitz Spec 7 Iridium Spark plugs, APS TMIC, Clear front and side indicators, STI red/clear rear lights, STI V rear spoiler, 17" OZ Superleggeras, Eibach springs & Powerstation bumpsteer mod & track geometry setup, Mintex 1144 pads, Goodridge braided brake hoses, MRT Brake Support Bracket, Painted Calipers (red & white), STI Carbon Strut Brace, P1 Clutch, Samco Hoses, ECUTek3 remap (courtesy of John Banks), VF28 Turbo from P1, Uprated Fuel pump, P1 front lip, Kenwood flip face CD stereo. Cat 1 (Toad) immobiliser and Tracker fitted.

Last dyno'd at Star Performance at 272bhp BEFORE VF28 was fitted, so should be hitting 300-ish now.

Immaculate and cared for, but it's gotta go.
Every receipt kept. Original exhaust will be given with car (so you can pass the MoT with the Cats!)

PP not included.

£15k ovno or may consider part-ex plus cash
E-Mail offline or call 07968 470552

Thanks for the backup mate

Edited to say, that I will consider a part-ex.

Theo

Theo! Good luck in selling your car but to be honest mate you don`t need luck as the car and its descriptionwill sell itself! This has to be one of the ultimate classic shape scoobies around, it is the right colour, right styling, excellent mods, and a history of careful owners. As you know i tried to get you to sell this to me a few months back and i could not get you to part with it, anyone who is after the perfect classic scoobie should contact him now as you will be gutted if he sells it and you have months trying to find one half as good! AS you know mate i am looking for an Evo 5 otherwise i would be on the train up to Bonnie Scotland with a suitcase of cash! I just hope it goes to a good home and not to someone who will probably kill himself in it! Rob

Chrome,

This is a Euro Import, so the insurance etc is the same as a UK Spec car mate.

..sorry theo...
dutch import right?
it was more the combination of import+mods that will result in an astronomical insurance bill

Im under 30 ... so it seems that unless I want to pay LARGE insurance premium money Im looking for non modded car or at an absolute push a "standard" P1 if the right one comes along..

well sorted car tho Theo... looks well worth a train ride to bonny scotland :P

oh,
BTTT

THEO- YHM

I'm 30 and pay about £850 at the mo, with the mods.
That's through Sterling Insurance, but there are other companies like Liverpool Victoria which get a good write up.

A UK spec Dutch sourced car is not classed as an Import for insurance purposes as my Ex car was an MY00 Turbo in Sonic Blue which was Insured by Liverpool Victoria and was classed as a UK spec car. The ones that are classed as Imports are usually none EU cars that come without underseal and foglights etc, Dutch and Belgium sourced cars are mainly UK spec and my chassis number was a UK one! Your car is a steal Theo as a standard car will cost about £13k with that mileage and colour, then if you just add a stainless exhaust £500, an Sti 5 spoiler £400, and a good induction kit £400 that would take a standard car too £14,300 and thats without starting on the serious costs of engine mods!

Scoobynutta555,

They were sprayed by previous owner.
Actually brightens it up, since I've been in a few other Scoobs and found them quite bland and dark otherwise.
