adroy - its in my shed (dry!) and wrapped up in bubble wrap - the earliest I can get a picture is the weekend. It was on the car for 2 years and as such does have some rust (after all its only mild steel) but I would have thought there would be at least a year left of life in it.
breezer - yes its the same for the classic - where are you in surrey - I do work just outside the M25 - mail me off line if interested.
I swapped it a year back for a PPP BB - much nicer - I just kept the old one incase I needed it when I sold the car.
I'm in no rush but so let me know if you really do want pics and I will do some this weekend.

I would mail you offline - if your address was available in your profile.
My profile says where I live (so J10 off the M25, aka the A3 - about 20 mins out from there in clear traffic). I work near Thatcham, but am going to be heading back to Colchester (Essex) on Friday noon (and back again early the next week) and could meet/pick up on the way.

Yep, I know.
How's the Audi? You still eating the miles up? I've done 3k since I got the car (plus as good as another 7 in my Corsa), and I've only taken it to work on average 2-3 times a week. Going to visit my parents this weekend so that'll add another few hundred (they've not seen it properly yet). Still love it.
