Cool

Big difference between the sizes of spoilers. You don't realise just how much bigger they are until you put them side by side

Also that isn't a crack on the rear bumper, must have been mud or a funny reflection (not normally that clean )

Edited 'cos my fingers were working quicker than the brain

dont let the mods see this they may delete it, breach of copy right something like that....

personally i dont understand what was been talked about, what about all these STI 'style' spoilers, surly they are copies of subaru's original design why can these be sold on here....??? but not a prodrive 'style' spoiler...????

A confused Dan

Sorry mate no but if you can get one my mate may be able to copy it .
Only prob is fibre glass is brittle so if you clipped a splitter on a curb it will crack!!!!

The bottom rear looks bigger as it has grooves cut in at the ends...not sure how much bigger though.

Interested, would they come with fittings brackets?...mine are on there way out

Mail me with details, thanks

I was going to take a photo this afternoon to compare the sizes but ran out of time - sorry. The bottom spoiler is a *lot* bigger than the standard UK one, my photo doesn't really do it justice. As Scooby-Si says, it's approximately twice the size.

Cool

I have a pic of the rear of Miles's car and mine and you can quite clearly see the difference. I'll mail Miles the pics and he can upload them to show you.

I've got them on my Wagon and if it helps the bottom spoiler is between 7" and 8" which is as has been said pretty much double the size of the standard one.

It is A LOT BIGGER than the standard bottom one.

IMHO the top one looks odd with a standard lower spoiler which is why I held out for a 'full set' for my car.

Hope that helps

Rear Bumper Protect Q? You can get them direct from Subaru...I had one fitted to mine, but asked them to take it off (don't have it now) They come in either black plastic and chrome finish I think.

Thanks to IainCam for the picture of our cars, this is the difference between the STi rear wings and the UK rear wings.

So how many are we short?

How are the spoilers going to be prepared, will they come ready to just be painted or will we need to treat and prime....not that I know much.

How about fixings, will they come with any.

One other thing, what are the square cut-outs for in the top of the upper spoiler....are they fixing mounts or ???

Hi Ian,

Yes, the square cut outs hide the bolts that hold the spoiler on.

If they mount the same as sti ones it is an easy job, I swapped mine over in under an hour.
