More info as in what mate???
It stops the CEL (Check Engine Light)appearing when you fit a decat downpipe. Here's what it says on Scoobysports website....

Every Subaru manufactured after 2000 has On Board Diagnostics (OBDII), which monitor the efficiency of the original catalysts. If the downpipe and/or the up pipe are replaced with de-cat versions, OBDII will trigger an error code. The error code is P0420 “Catalyst below efficiency threshold”. This will also illuminate the Check Engine Light on the dashboard.

ScoobySport are the only company to have developed an active electronic fix for this. The tiny grey box is wired in line with the rear O2 sensor, next to the ECU, and modifies the signal from this sensor. The use of this fix does not affect any other operation of the ECU, nor does it stop the CEL illuminating if the ECU records any other error code.

These units are sealed in resin to ensure that they are completely shock proof and waterproof.

Dunno about the Motec ECU part but I have a full decat with std ecu(Up-pipe inc) and the CEL stays on.The only way to get rid of the CEL warning is to fit this device......

Cheers

Just I'm a lazy git and never got round to fitting it to my car (Bought it from a guy off here).Kinda got used to the CEL being on now and decided I can live with it.......
