My MY02 WRX was PPP'd last month but now i want to change it for a stock standard one as i want to now go down another route.

So this is the deal, if someone would like to px there standard ECU for my Prodrive one and give me £450 for the pleasure of doing so they would have a deal.

The prodrive ECU is quite impressive but i want to change to ECUTEK2 so as i modify the car further i can have it remapped.

If you want an ecu thats going to provide an extra 30BHP and make your car more fun to drive the ppp is fine.

Just wish i had discovered the ECUTEK2 before blowing £1600 .!!

Don't you need to have the restrictor as well though if you're runnin the Prodrive ecu?? (I ain't a techy but have read something about this restrictor a while ago on here when someone was tryin to sell the ecu on its own)
That means the potential buyer would need that too.......
Best for the buyer to do some research before comittin!!!
Just some friendly advice to keep all parties happy!!!

Good luck with the sale

Nick

Medway thought I ought to warn you when I exchanged my MY01 PPP for standard, The dealer had to change them over to keep warranty's. They charged me £220 for this which included swapping the exhausts. Can Power Engineering recode the ECU's as they are coded to ignition key also??

Good luck

Jas

Pleased to say yes they can do that no problem, htye actually showed me the software and how its done.

Thanks for the info though, some less professional moders would have put me in a right sticky situation.

What did you change your ppp for ?
