Sept 1998 Impreza Turbo saloon
On "S" plate
24,600 miles only
UK car, full history (although due a service now)
Owned by me from new
Taxed to end Aug 2003
Mot Sept 2003
Metallic dark green
Quickshift gearchange
Potenza Pole Position S02's approx 40% left
1998 model year with the low rear spoiler
Cat 1 Meta alarm/immobilser
Clarion 6CD changer c/w remote control (plus original Scoob stereo)
Bel Vector VLR radar detector
In really good condition, approx half a dozen small pressure marks on one wing and the doors from car park incidents, hardly noticable.
Never raced, only modification are a K&N airfilter and GreenStuff vented discs and pads, otherwise all standard.
Car in Aberdeen, I'll get some photos rigged up on a link this week.
For sale due to replacement motor coming.
Looking for offers around £12,000, I'll knock off £250 to keep the CD/Stereo/Radar, and my private plate will be coming off too.

Anyway, the radar is a BEL Vector VLR (Very Long Range), was one of the top rated ones when new 3 years ago. Works well on speed cameras, gives 100-400m warning depending on the amount of traffic up ahead (loads of traffic creates a lot of signal "bounce" so gives more warning). Also does the usual X, K and Ka gun bands and also Laser. Comes with the manual, carrying pouch and 2 mounting clips.
I had it up for auction on eBay a couple month ago, it was up to around £120 but I changed my mind and stopped the auction. It's defo got to go now, bought a slow 4x4 so won't be needing it. Cost me £300 new (approx. price of one of the newer 550 Euro/970/990 series). The best I'll do is £100 delivered. If that's of interest let me know, otherwise I'll be putting it back on eBay.

I'll deal for the radar at £90 delivered using normal 2nd class post.
Without digging out the handbook to check I'm sure the model number is 970, it's defo called the Vector VLR.

Price reduced.
Little interest at £12,000, so reduced to £11,250 for the car with the standard stereo.
Haven't had time to sort photos, but will get some soon, although the car is bog standard so not much to see!
