Question

Anyone require an exhaust manifold? It's off my 2002 UK Wrx, cast iron and can be supplied with pre-turbo cat. Offers?

Will it fit a 1972 Vauxhall Viva?

Seriously, how much are you looking for?

£150 with pre-turbo cat (inc delivery). It's all just over 8 months old. All with heat shields.

HKS un-equal length job. Makes too much noise (serious) but that's what I wanted! I had the de-cat pre-turbo pipe fitted at the same time so hard to say which part made the biggest difference. It goes like stink now, sounds like a Scooby low down (although tone slightly different) and a motorbike after 4,000. Needs a chip which is next on the shopping list. I understand the chip will take full advantage of the manifold with increased ignition advance, so even more power to come (although it's not needed at the moment).

It makes a big difference to pull, but slightly slower spool up, even with a dawes fitted - this is due to the std cat pipe having a taper which increases exhaust gas exit speed for given engine revs and the de-cat pipe is large bore without taper (no gas exit speed increase so higher engine revs required to spin turbo).
