As some of you may have noticed I've completely lost interest in the Scoob thing over the past few weeks...and with heavy heart and some spirilling debts I'm putting the car up for sale.

Simple choice really, I'm either going to sell it as a going concearn or strip it of all the mods and sell it that way. No, don't bother asking me for various bits off it, I won't break it until I know what the response is like for it as a whole.

Anyway here goes:

UK spec Turbo 2000
MY98 on an S (very special Registration by separate negotiation)
Reddish Blue
1 Owner from new
Receipts for everything (bar some second hand bits)
86k miles
T&T until September '03
New Lateral Performance clutch 5k miles ago
Reconditioned Gearbox will be fitted for sale
Lateral Performance up rated fuel pump
Scoobysport Brembo front brake kit, with Hi-spec supplied bells and disks and Ferrodo DS2500 pads
Pagid disks and new Ferrodo DS2000 pads on the rear
Braided brake lines all round
Powerflex bushes all round
Standard 16 inch rims in dark metalic grey with 4 good tyres will be fitted for sale
Alpine CD head unit and 12 disk autochanger with Infinity front speakers
Usual security
Always maintained regardless of cost

As above £ 8000

Or the car as above complete with all modifications :

HKS FMIC
HKS Exhaust Manifold
Custom Up pipe
440cc injectors
Aquamist Water Injection with boot mounted 14 litre Forge alloy tank
Hybrid Induction Kit
Lateral Performance MD304 VF22 Hybrid Turbo
Scoobysport Downpipe
HKS Hiper Muffler exhaust system
Possum Link ECU, Knock Link, Lambda Link, Data Link, Link Controller and I'll throw in a Laptop PC to data log with!
Freshly rebuilt Leda B suspension with brand new 450/275 lb springs and Pillow Ball top mounts
Cusco Upper and Lower front and upper rear strut braces
MRT solid drop links front and rear
Set of 5 17 inch Gold OZ Motorosport Super T's (these are the super strong group N tarmac spec wheels, not to be confused with normal Super T's!) with S02's

Also thrown in; clip in Sparco 4 point harneses with quick release Aero buckle, all the original bits, and the original wheels with 4 Michelin TA40 slicks.

Serious offers invited

You can ask all sorts of things about this car, but it is know to be one of the most relaibly powerful UK model Imprezas around (20k miles runing over 340 brake and 310lb/ft or torque...if not more)...and at the moment, at least, the fastest officially recorded at 166.6 mph over 1.2 miles from a standing start at the Ten of the Best day at Elvington in the Summer...

If you are seriously interested in this car drop me a mail as my profile, no time wasters or dreamers please!

Also for sale and these can go anytime

Closed Deck Block
Sti 4 short engine with Heads with less than 20k miles
Sparco MY97-99 UK Intercooler 'Y' pipe

Sensible offers invited for these items

Tim, sorry to see that you've decided to sell your car after all It was your car that gave me the inspiration to do what I've done to mine, and will continue to do (when the money allows! ).

Fingers crossed somebody buys this motor soon, as it's a superb car, and the smile people will get from nailing the accelerator hard will be huge.

Best of luck in selling it mate.

Considering your situation it seems like a responsible decision mate... it wont be too tough.. you'll see..

By the way this is a fantastic car.... The only Scoob to have out-done me at Elvington.... I ONLY got to 163mph in 1.25 miles from a standing start... Tim got to 166!!! (but i did have him in the sprint )

Being serious make NO MISTAKE... this is the fastest and quickest UK Scoob in the country if you buy it as is... Buy the block of him too and WOW....

Speak soon Tim.

Cheers for the support chaps...it's a shame that I will most likely never get to find out what the car's real potential could have been, but the way everything seems to be going at moment with everything it feels like the right decission at the moment.

Still after a little over 4 years with it, I know it won't be easy to part with, appart from my first car (which I still own!) this is the longest time I've driven the same vehicle! I had become quite attached to it

Look, it's quite simple, I will first be trying to sell the car as a going concearn, IF that doesn't pan out THEN I MIGHT decide to split the car, clear?

Tim firstly those pics don't do your car justice.... and secondly put the plate on Ebay for a bit more.... There is only 1 maybe 2 plates i can think of that could be looked at as better for a Scoob....

Someone will pay good money for that!

Cool

Neil, true the plate is probably worth more than the car to the right person...but how often do you meet them

Unfortunately they're the only digital pics that I have of my car...it does look so much better in the flesh...but I really must clean the engine bay...where's Matt Oz when you need him

Oh *****...having speant most of yesterday in the company of some scooby nutters (Pavlo, R19KET and later Alan)...I don't want to let it go

So, I'm still going to sell the spare bit's I've got knocking around to raise some cash (new post going up for that) to help me get out of the financial do for now, then see what the future brings...

Mind you so far only one person showed a blind bit of interest in the car...but you should have seen the vultures

Tractor, nice car m8, but green leather oh no, not for me! I'll mention it to my sister and her finance though, they're looking for an Elise...If I was going to get an elise it would have to be one of the rather specail 97 MY sport 190's which had carbon fibre bodies and all the toys', saw one at Hayden car's 3 years ago...was very tempted at the time!
