which amp best power all the speakers up? i presume the bass module is self powered?

and can u pls provide the rms figure for the small speakers and bass module. quite interested as looking for a system for the room.

The Acoustimass Bass Module is a passive device so is not powered. It uses patented technology designed by Bose to generate rich deep bass. See description below for information.

Acoustimass® Speaker Technology

The key to this patented technology is the Acoustimass module. Inside are two 5 1/4' speakers and three acoustic chambers. The chambers capture energy from both sides of the speakers. This improves efficiency and enables the module to reproduce a wider range of frequencies - without audible distortion - than conventional 'subwoofers.' It also allows the cube speakers to be much smaller - without sacrificing performance.

Unlike conventional subwoofers that radiate sound from a vibrating cone, the Acoustimass module launches sound into the room on a column of air. This innovation results in bass so natural and pure, its source is almost impossible to localize, allowing you to place the Acoustimass module almost anywhere - even behind furniture. And all the sound appears to come from the tiny cube speakers.
