hi all,
due to a change in work circumstances, im going to have to sell my beloved subaru.... i wonder if any of you might have an idea of how much i should i ask, or even might be interested yourselves.
So then, he (Kato) is a silver 94 (L reg) wrx, imported in 2000 and owned by me since then. not wanting to blow my own trumpet (and lets face it, if i could do that id never leave the house, or need a car) but its absolutley immaculate. the paintwork is unfaded and as new, with no scratches and only a couple of stone chips on the front of the bonnet (better to be honest about these things). the interior which is the high wingbacked bucket seat kind is also unmarked and has never been smoked in. theres also impreza floor mats if you like that sort of thing.
its recently been serviced by a main scooby dealer (Greenways) and has had the cambelt changed 16 months ago. i have changed the oil every 1000 miles using only motul oil and original subaru filters.
it has only ever run on optimax and additive, and has never seen any track use. in fact, im far too much of a nervous old fart to even use anything like the potential of the car (just ask darren lloyd at flat four how nice the car is and how much of a doddery old duffer i am).
i have spent a fortune on it (as did the original owner) and have reciepts to show as much. i also have a brand new EBC clutch to go in it, but as yet have not fitted it, as frankly the OE item is fine and functioning perfectly.
its got six months tax, and about 8 or 9 months mot, but im happy to mot again cos i know itll pass (always has too).
the list of other modifications are (and ve probably forgotten a few):
fully adjustable shocks and suspension (£2000)
quickshift
17" prodrive p1 OZ graphite alloys with falken tyres and custom locking wheel nuts (two special lockers per wheel. beat that TWOC'ers)
4" decatted stainless fujitsabu exhaust system (imported from japan they have a website, think its called the sport something) not loud, just a perfect gurgle sound. always passes the mot emissions.
22b spolier, colour coded.
lightweight bonnet and bootlid
clear repeaters and indicators
new walboro fuel pump from mark at lateral performance (three weeks old)
new pagid disks and pads all round
new clutch master cyclinder
momo steering wheel and momo boss (nardi leather one and boss included too) + momo gear *** (i know, i know)
PROVA ecu (also with a website for more info)
knock/ lambda link/ boost gauge
start button (i know, i know)
pipercross induction with cold air feed
dump valve (cant remember the make, cost £220)
uprated earth kit
tv and sat navigation with touch sensitive screen and voice activated remote control
kenwood cd head unit with kenwood twelve disk changer and remote control.
kenwood speakers all round, which sound very nice, with neat little tweeters too.
cat 1 laserline alarm.
i also have tonnes of spares that i have bought and never get round to fitting (or tried and did not like) such as blitz air induction kit, a protek fuel pressure regulator, etc etc etc. in all theres probably a grands worth of spares alone . oh and a set of 16" subaru alloys with brand new bridgestone potenzas on them to, plus obviously all the OE parts that i have removed to make the above changes.
so anyone got any ideas? ill try and get some pics up tmrw but at the mo its difficult since i seem to get up in the dark, and only come home when its dark. mail me if i can answer any questions you might have.
going now to have a bit of a cry. sniff sniff.
thanks all,
Matt.

newport white scooby drop me a line about the wheels via matt.bagley@btopenworld.com but im thinking £120 for them. Theyve only done about 1000 miles (both the wheels and the tyres).
im not sure about the filter, if you do a search im sure youll find out what you need to know.
talk to you soon,
Matt.

My advise is to get some pics on here. ALthough if you want top money for it mate, scobbies are still fetching a high price over here (isle of man) specially highly modded ones. If you want to try your luck, put it on www.manx.net and ask about £7,800, and i would think you will have a buyer at £7,500 before long.

There's a few WRX's for sale on here, check the prices and spec of them and then price yours accordingly, but remember the cars only worth what someone will pay for it!! :-)
IMHO its worth between £7000 and £7500.
Good luck with the sale. BTTT
Cheers
