This is a pukka ecu! Better than most aftermarket replacments. The person you need to speak to regarding mapping is Clive of RC Developemts. He has remapped loads of scoobs. Ive been in one of the cars he has mapped and all i can say is that its rapid!!!!

Its only the fuel you can map with one of these though isn't it ? Obviously with the boost controller you can do the boost to.

Ya its a pain in the *** that i dont have the hand controller.Quite why the previous owner left the ecu in but took the controller out is a mystery to me.Still £450 with the boost control valve is bargain of the year.

Heres what the ecu does
Tuning parameters include: ignition timing map, air flow meter signal adjustment, injector pulse timing adjustment, boost control, acceleration enrichment compensation, fuel/ignition test, ignition cranking fuel adjustment, water temperature correction, and rev-limiter control. All parameters of the vehicle including water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure can be monitored from the display.

Do you know if this uses the MAF sensor (i.e like Jecs) or the MAP sensor (i.e like the LINK) for working out the load?

May be interested if it's a MAP based system.

What model Impreza would that ECU fit?

Has the program been locked by the tuner or not?

thanks

Catalunya, the Power FC is a complete replacement ECU which uses all thestandard sensors. I have seeen the tchnical specs of the unit and in my mind its as good as many more expensivee brands (NO NAMES MENTIONED). The japanese tuners swear by them with most high power cars such as skylines, EVO's and RX7's using them.
