I would prefer to trade down not up.

If anyone wants to e-mail me, with possible trades, my details are in the profile.

I have priced my car at below trade price according to pParkers, and I would expect potential swaps to be priced accordingly.

regards

Stu

Is this an import, or was it bought from a UK VW dealer?

Thanks

boy band,

I'll take some photo's later and post them up.

As for the mpg, I get about 50mpg on my 10 mile mixed journey to work.

My dad has the same car and he went to London on Saturday (340 miles) and got 63 mpg

boyband pete,

There is a Golf BBS at uk-mkivs.net (can't do that clicky rubbish sorry) which is pretty good. Not as much traffic as this one but it's getting there.

Cheers,

John

Hi Frisby,

We have gone the opposite ways here mate

I sold my Scoob at the end of November and bought a '98 Golf TDI 110 and love it

I just read one of your comments about the tax only being £110. Mine is due for re-newal at the end of the month and it £160 per year.

I've just twiged that cars after a certain year come under omissions now and not engine sizes.

Blast it!! That's £50 a year I have to pay more than 115, 130 & 150 drivers.

The MKiv site is excellent

P.s. Hope you sell your Golf soon and get a nice example Scoob.
P.s.s. My Golf is a 5-Door Flash Red with 16" Audi TT wheels on might see you around in your Black Golf.

Cheers

Hi Ricky,

Good to hear your enjoying your Golf - its a good feeling to only have to fill up twice a month.

Actually, I think I've seen you around, though its probably very unlikely that our paths will cross at the petrol station))

Not sure what I'm going to get next - I've just got a Ford KA to go to work and back in - 45mpg in that too and the servicing is SO cheap - an oil change once a year for about the first 3 years and then in the fourth, the brake fluid and coolant - yep, really cheap motoring.

Maybe a Scooby for the weekend with the funds from the Golf I think)

see you round no doubt

Stu

oh and a BTTT

As a mkiv 130 gttdi owner, I got a good 65mpg from Ipswich to manchester a few weeks ago, and i drive like a tw@t.

im well impressed, but also gutted as mine doesnt have the 150 bhp wheels like yours has.
yours also has black trim seats etc, mine are boring grey.
