Mate,
Apologies for the dull essay, but you asked, and I think its best to tell all, so you don’t waste a trip.
The general condition is very good, let me see...
All 4 tyres have loads of tread, on cross spoke alloys.
Spare is good. This car has never ever left me stranded, always got me home and starts first time, always. Believe me when you travel at the times of day to the places I travel to this is very important!
Bodywork, only one point, that I will tell you, but should not worry about there is a touch of rust on both rear arch inner lips, but nothing too worrying. The patches are about 1.5 to 2 inches long, and about 0.5 inches wide. The were going to be resprayed by me last year, got a quote from a bodyshop for one hundred quid, then I never had time. (Typical).
Not been smoked in, all clean and nice and fresh.
One of the heated seat switches has gone, replacements are quite hard to find in scrap yards, but when you do it will only be a fiver max! The front drivers suspension strut has been replaced, unfortunately not with the hydraulic item. Again, I was mid journey, and that was all they had in, this I don’t feel affects the ride any, as the replacement is set to firm (s), so I have the other 3 set to (s) firm, and everything is well.
The CD is blauplunkt, (however you spell it)
The air con is nice and cold, I charged it spring last year.
It has its last service December, plugs / oil / air cleaner / coolant. The battery is brand new as I changed that when I bought her.
I got it last march, as a tow barge, now looking for a GTE nova as my rally car is nearly ready, and I need left foot braking practice. The service record is quite startling I got it from a bloke who was more than a little **** when it came to stuff like this.
The interior is mint. The comfiest armchairs ever. (10,000 directors ***** cant be wrong.
the insurance costs me 180 quid third party fire theft (I’m 30 years old (ooof) with points)
The trip computer, which does everything, tells me at the moment I am averaging about 25mpg.
Truth time again...round town its crap, about 10 - 15 if you wanting to make progress, but that is far outweighed on the motorway, hello, its god.
It will sit at 90mph at just over 2000 rpm. This will return about 35 - 40 mpg.
It tows my rally car / trailer / 6 spare wheels all the tools and four adults up Everest if you need it no shortage of torque.
maxes out at 140 ish where there ain’t to kojaks with kodaks (or trailers attached.
You will be suprised at this car; it makes you love her, its great.
give me a call, I will try to get some piccies of her up here.
If you are interested, I will let you have her for 650 no quibbles.
to take into account the items mentioned above but no haggling, just come and see her.

No.
Its a 12V, which although slightly not as manly,
in the "Max Power Cap on Backward" stakes,
the 12V does not suffer from the porus heads.
The 24V heads tend to die and need costly replacements later in their life. Not with this one.
When I bought this one I had the engine pressure tested, it was very good, and so should hopefuly have no probs.
its a straight six, and sweet as a nut, any more questions?
I'm suprised there are no takers for this beastie.
Truly luxurious motoring.
£650 anyone?
I am down near Birmingham over the weekend, if anyone wants to view her down there.
