Might be doing a reshuffle on the cars in the next little while so the following is for sale:
1992 J reg BMW 730i
111k miles
Dark silver metallic
FULL Service history from new (documented)
Switchable automatic transmission
Electric windows
Electric sunroof
Electric mirrors
Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser
Headlight washers
Elecric lumbar support
Good stereo
Alloys with 4 new tyres
Immaculate condition inside and out with one exception - one small dent on the drivers side rear passenger door. Apart from that it is perfect - there is not even any curbing on the wheels
It even has the full BMW tool kit in the boot!
The car will be serviced before sale.
EVERYTHING works perfectly.
This car is a joy to drive and gives pretty decent fuel consumption too (ave, 23-30 mpg). It is very quick, has lovely fluent supple handling with little roll, direct steering and very strong brakes. It will cruise in silence all day long at 90mph delivering you relaxed at your destination (which is what I use it for). It really is a great car by anyone's standards and feels like a much smaller car to drive. I challenge you to find a better example anywhere.
Oh, 2 more points - this car does not have leather or the fancy computer which is prone to failure. The result is the seats look great (old leather looks awful in my opinion) and there is nothing expensive to go wrong (the computers can go on the blink and cost a tonne to fix)
Price new was £40k, I'm asking £2,750 ONO
Please ask all questions here or mail as per my profile.

Edited to say that I have just booked the car in for a full service at a BMW main dealer, and I will be renewing the tax, so no bills for many, many miles.

I'm sure I've asked this before, but does it have aircon?
I'm either looking for a 'performance' diesel (e.g. Saab 9-3 TiD), a car with a large petrol engine and LPG fitted, or a dirt cheap car with a large petrol engine which I can convert to LPG myself (well, not personally you understand). Aircon is a necessity, though.

TBH it's not very economical to spend serious amounts of money on a cheap car, as you're never going to get that back.
I'm already balking at the idea of fitting a 1200-1800 quid LPG system to a 2.5k car....
BTT for you
