Yes I know it’s not a scoob but it’s still for sale. We are about to buy a house and we don't need 2 cars.
P reg (Jan 1997), 54,520 miles, 5sd manual, Metallic blue, Full Renault Service History (including original documentation, manuals, service books, stereo manual etc.) Recent Renault service at 54,514 miles (new Oil filter, new oil, screen wash etc.) exhaust system replaced 2 months ago , Air Con, PAS, Drivers Airbag, e/windows, e/mirrors, e/sunroof , r/c/locking, standard Renault Cat2 immobiliser, rear spoiler, fog lights, alloys, Renault cassette head unit.
Totally standard. All tyres have 6mm of tread left, brake pads have 80% left, umm can’t think of anything else
Tax until Nov 2003, Mot until June 2003. £4700
The car has a scratch on the off side front panel which will either be repaired by a local body shop and I will pay the fee (£200-300 job apparently) and then I'll sell for £4700 or I will knock £300 off the price and then sell for £4 700.
I don't have any pictures yet but I am hoping to get some tomorrow when I pinch the camera from work and then get them uploaded.

BTTT page 3 already.
I'll also throw in the unopened Hayes manual for free. I only bought it about a month ago and never opened it as I prefer
Renault to work on it than me
Pictures will be added this evening.

I recently sold an S plate 1.6e coupe sport (33k miles) for a lot less. It didn't have aircon though.
For interest all dealers offered me was just over £3k as the market is so low at the moment. Not what you wanted to hear but it might make you understand why there is little interest.

Thanks Bakerman,
Did you end up selling your car private or to a dealer? I have not got a quote yet from a dealer, as I know I'll be offered a lot less than a private sale.
Either way thanks for the post, and its back to the top

Thanks GPM2K2, I can't afford to let it go for that amount of money unless I really really have to. I am losing a lot of money any way.
I forgot to add that it comes with 6 months BMW road side assistance and warranty.
When I purchased 6 months ago the car came with 12 months assistance and warranty. As I am selling the car now it still has 6 months remaining which will be transferred to the new owner.
To purchase a BMW ‘off the shelf’ costs about £400. That’s going in for free.

I sold privately for £3750 with no warranty whatsoever. Inherited the car and didn't need it so just had to sell.
I don't think it is just Megane's that are struggling, all cars are. Just look at the price some people are selling their STIs with less than 10k miles for !
BTT as well !

V-techland,
I can't really go any lower than £4300. Where abouts are you based? I am in Brighton if your friend wants to come and have a look.
regards
Darren

Darren's neighbour has an R33 v-spec but apparently he would rather have this Megane !
it's a nice looking car ..seen it up close when I bought some in-car stuff from Darren
...worth the money minus a little for the scratches
someone should buy it.....
