Hi guys

Chris I've mailed you a suggested price.

As for the Motec, a lot less than £2000, but nothing silly like £500. Make me an offer, you never know?

Nice try but not quite what I had in mind, If I don't get the price on here I will just post on E Bay. Incidentally the last one went for £1500 on there, and that wasn't set to fit directly in the harness.

I'm currently putting my car back to stock to sell in the near future (probably about 2 mths), and awaiting eagerly my new RX8.
Incidentally I also have a TSL centre pipe for the STi7, offers for that also would be nice.
Although if I have anymore problems with the importers I'll just get the Evo8 (I know traitor)

BTT

Come on all you STi7 owners, stop your car going bang and get a Motec fitted.

M800 Direct fit to STi7 no fiddling about and controllable safe parameters.

TSL centrepipe for the STi7 also going. Still open to offers for all.

Fulham, the difference is that you might have to of had a loom adapter. This unit does not.

Gofaster.I'm interested.Some questions,
1) Are you sure that no loom adaptor is needed
2)I thought you needed a seperate cam timing device with the M800 for the STi7,is that not true
3)Have you got the PC link jobbie you need to actually data log from it?
4)Are any additional sensors needed.
5)How was the idle control?
6)Do you still have any paperwork/receipts?
Please take the time to answer,Deep.

Deep

In answer:
1) Are you sure that no loom adaptor is needed
Sti7 directly as OEM.
2)I thought you needed a seperate cam timing device with the M800 for the STi7,is that not true
Latest version has CAM timing on it
3)Have you got the PC link jobbie you need to actually data log from it?
Has a comm lead linked to the board to plug in
4)Are any additional sensors needed.
You can have a wide band lambda if you want
5)How was the idle control?
Perfect, why don't you put it in
6)Do you still have any paperwork/receipts?
Got the invoice of tune and all
Please take the time to answer,Deep

The money that this guy will accept is peanuts for an M800. I am only gutted that I cant fit it.

Thanks Danny

A number of people seem to be very interested in this system so to clear up any confusion on what it does....

1. It fits the STi7 without any changes, into the OEM harness with the wiring already exactly right.
2. It has the 1mb data logging option.
3. Can add the wide band lambda sensor.
4. Has the new variable cam capability to control.

In fact if you look at the M800 unit on the MOTEC website and then imagine it as an OEM replacement you've got it right. This thing is made for the Subaru with all the singin and dancing parts of the M800. A trial consists of a 10 minute swap with the OEM unit (subject to MAP configuration). It really is that simple. But, you really would do well to imagine an ECU with the capability to run the car to your exact spec, to match your MODS exactly as you do them.
It is peanuts!!

Just to add i've had one of these fitted in my UK300 today and it fitted straight in the OEM box apart from cutting a little slot for the comms cable and mapped for the mods i've got on the car.

Seriously impressed and a big thankyou to everyone at TSL

Sounds like a bargain to me
