Rusty- I have seen a Sport with the WRX New Age wheels like Yoza, I think the sti wheels have a different offset.. I'm sure yoza's will fit, I think the new shape wheels suit a classic too
Here's a Pic of them on a classic
[edit- depends what tyres Yoza has actually - Anything 215 width or less should be fine]

Piccies as promised. Waiting to go on Sport:
On MY00 Sport
Reason why don't fit - have bigger outside radius
Sport goes straight back on original 15's
Right - I have the merchandise - lets have some offers...

Rusty,
like the rims, and you say they will go straight onto a sport,?? I have a MY97 Sport, with gold alloy's already, but looking worse for wear,! if these ones you have will go, i'm interested,

Sorry Marie - If they did go on the Sport, I would have been posting in the gallery saying "look at my new wheels!"
However, I believe they will go on a MY01 / MY02 GX...
Cheers, Jon

They look really nice on your sport, why not remove the potenza's and sell on and replace with 215 / 40 / 17's.
You'll probably find that these will fit as they have a much smaller side wall. The second figure (40) is a percentage of the the first (215) so this will reduce the radius of the wheel by a fair amount...
Just if I was you I'd be a bit dissapointed of having to sell them on when they look so good.

Thanks Dazza
I agree the wheels look fantastic but who is going to take the 225/45/17 potenzas off me when I have not even had a sniff of interest in the wheels (yes! - no one has offered me £600 or even £400, let alone £800 )
I have persuaded the original supplier to take them back as they have another customer waiting for them. I have already asked them if they would change the rubber - they said no as no-one would take the rubber off them either.
At least I have the pictures as a reminder of what my Sport could have looked like

Thanks Avi,
I get the impression from reading tyre choice threads that most folk hate the Bridgestone Potenza's so I would have had to have binned a brand new set of 225/45/17's and then gone off and spent more cash on a new set of 215/40/17's (£100 a pop for toyo's) which I could not afford, in order to get them onto my Sport
The wheels were absolutely stunning but I no longer have them
Cheers, Jon
